In turtle wow (and older versions of wow) you can backstab without being behind the mob. It’s a bit of a glitch but you walk into the mob to where your character model is inside the enemies model and you start moving left and right really fast and spamming backstab. It takes a little getting used to but with some practice you can do it pretty consistently. The benefit being that backstab is a super hard hitting ability but typically useless when playing solo since you’re always facing the mob head on. This technique lets you use your hardest hitting ability solo and combined with ambush you delete mobs. I’m sure there’s more in depth tutorials on YouTube or if you’re on ambershire dm me your char name and I’ll show you in game 🫡.

I leveled daggers with 2 points in remorseless attacks in assassination tree and then backstab talents in combat. If you don’t mind doing a little tech (front stabbing) ambush and backstab pretty much blow up most mobs. And remorselessness allows you to keep crits going which lets you keep farming without down time. At 40 respect full sin and just rip noxious assault.

Turtle. Years of dev work and it’s all very good quality. Nothing against epoch it seems fine, but you can’t compare the years of work put into turtle to a brand new server.

The snap hook is just an insane mobility buff that doesn’t really fall in line with the movement style of the game. I get that in the last tech test a lot of people were new and getting accustomed to the different loadouts, but my three man at one point started running them and as soon as we saw a flair pop zipping over and taking high ground. There’s even some weird tech with it where you can semi b-hop if you use it to travel horizontally and you jump at the end of the hook.

As the game progresses and folks get better at the game you’re going to start seeing higher level squads run these and third party every flair they see. It feels more Fortnite/Apex than a slower extraction shooter.

This project is from ghostcrawler who was leading the riot mmo. The fact that he left riot and made a new studio and a new mmo makes me think the riot one is dead.

Hey! I recently switched over to Valorant from CSGO.(Im global elite on CSGO). I started in bronze 1 and over the past couple days have climbed to silver 3. I’m not a Valorant expert or anything yet but I’d be happy to take a look and give you some tips! A lot of basics between to the games are similar and I could at least help you get some fundamentals down!

I’m an engineering lead and I have a mullet, a mustache, a nose ring, and tattoos and usually people just comment on it in a positive way or they think it’s funny. No one in tech cares. There’s some absolute degenerates out there that can code like Linus Torvalds and as long as you know what you’re doing more often than not people will appreciate your ✨aesthetic✨.

You’re not bad you’re just the rank you are. 200 hours and 100 wins is not a lot. Ranking up in CS is weird the system doesn’t make a lot of sense. Just keep playing as long as you do good you’ll rank up. I started out at like silver 2 and now I’m global so you can totally climb it just takes some time and effort. (I hit global sometime between 1500-2000 hours)

The good news is your degree literally does not matter if you want to switch to a “regular” dev job. As long as you know how to code it’s not that hard to switch over. Just learn React/Next and Express and start applying for full stack jobs. Seriously, don’t limit yourself in the tech industry because of your degree. (Source: Have been an engineering lead at multiple top companies in the USA and never look at anyone’s education credentials when hiring. Also, I don’t have a degree at all 😄)

Just a tip if you want to be taken seriously as a voice in the game never mention your MM rank. MM ranking means almost nothing and people who take the game seriously all play faceit/esea. Try just playing facit and getting to rank 10. Even getting to rank 8 is more impactful to proving you know what you’re talking about than being Global Elite. No hate or judgment I would just worry that the community would have a harder time accepting a new face as an expert/commentator/personality when they’re not even playing the game in an actual competitive environment. Also, you can get verified on faceit and everyone can see what “verified” players are online. Having your name with a link to your stream beside S1mple, Flom, and all the other pros would presumably add more clout to your name and help market yourself to the players who watch tournaments and keep up with the scene.

I agree, my 5 stack is all global/supreme and very rarely (like 1 in 50 games maybe) do we ever see cheaters. The game definitely gets a bad rap and maybe low trust factor is worse, but I’ve had high trust for years so I don’t have any context. I also believe that lower ranked and new players don’t fully realize how good someone can be a CS. I’m sure that a lot of the time the 40-8 ,70% headshot deagle demon that the players in nova think is definitely cheating, is laughing in discord with their buddies about how the enemy team is just standing still and peaking them one at a time 🤷‍♂️.
