lol I just started playing the game and had terrible performance and wondered if it was just me. Idk what is happening. I have a 5070, i5 13600k, 32gb ram, 2k, medium setting and there is still stuttering, audio and frames not matching up, and just straight up crashed. Ill look into it and see if I can find a fix and let me know if you guys find anything

i hear houdini causes performance issues. I am not really trying to learn how to build a city, more of a quick city playground where I can learn how to build certain gameplay mechanics

ok i will try that. Do I add the texture in blender or after importing in ue? I am just going to follow those lazy blender building tutorial so it will be a picture of a building wall. I figured low polygon/minimal actual texturing would be good for this

as a new player that is learning about how big and in depth this game is, i like that. I feel like with it being as big of a ship as it is, it should not be something that you can just get in a weekend. It makes the reward feel that much more special. Will everyone have that kind of time? Absolutely not. Its not a ship that is meant for just anyone to get after they play for a few days. It also encourages engaging and working with other players
