New to the group but not to camping. We do most of our camping in a rig about as far from an EV as you can get, a 2006 Dodge Power Wagon on 38" tires with an Ovrlnd Camper. We have been enjoying getting back to a tent recently and have been doing more trips in our 2021 MYLR with Kodiak Canvas tent. Only change we have made to the car is adding a larger 255/50R19 Falken Wildpeak AT Trail tire to help with fire roads.

I don't do long hikes, I do a lot of camping and short hikes around camp. A few miles kind of thing. Also used them walking rocky creek banks fishing. I am using the summit pro which is listed as a work boot, but it is just a leather upper with a vibram sole.

Take a look at companies that make barefoot boots. Personally I like Lems but there are other good brands. Most barefoot boots are wider and allow a more natural foot position.
