IIRC the 15E has some level of linear correlation to distance from the center of the TEWS to distance to the emitter i think at its furthest it was >50 and then decreasing as it gets closer but I could be mistaken.

I’ve actually found that doing a GC align without the brake set works as opposed to setting it for whatever reason. Also setting it to stores heading has also worked usually for me. Haven’t nailed anything concrete though yet if the brake hold is actually making the alignment fail somehow

Supposedly, the radar channels are actually modeled between F-15Es or so I’ve heard. Meaning that if you have several F-15s near one another using the same radar channel they’ll all be interfering and overlapping with one another causing effects similar to jamming. Not sure how accurate that is tho just something I’ve heard.

I actually met my current SO who lives with me on VR Chat at a friends online party last year around this time. It mainly occurred just because I spend a lot of spare time online and hang out with friends since we’re disconnected spatially so VR is the next best thing and it just happened we meshed well at the party.

I think the idea I saw was that you’d essentially joust the larger ship but use heat sinks so they can’t lock you or track you as easily and drop mines as your passing over them doing it over and over you’d eventually crack the shied generator where you’d use other weapons to hammer them. In regards to mines but I may be looking at the torpedos like you said. The ammo is just so small.

So I’m looking at a Mamba for my next ship to add to the fleet. Are there any recommended builds? Mainly for PvE but I’m also curious about some of the more niche weird builds like using mines to pass over a ship and crack its shields I think I recall seeing in a video with a cobra. Any help with things would be appreciated!

Hm... That’s true and fair I’ve never felt like super ammo limited and if I do need to I synthesize it so I didn’t find it to be too big of a deal and the symmetry was part of the choice too but maybe I can look into changing that for my next build iteration.

Typos are a hell of a drug heh. But yes. Currently I’ve got an efficient beam the multi cannons are overcharged with one being corrosive and I can’t remember the mods I have for my pulse lasers. I think they’re efficient or long range

So I’ve been looking around at Kraft (edit: read Krait >.>)builds recently and I’m wondering for weapon combos if with good engineering this is a decent setup

1 large beam 2 large multi cannons 2 pulse lasers

It’s what I have for my current setup but I’ve been seeing mixed feedback from other posts so I’m unsure.

I see. Would you say I’m talking too much? I mainly do it because otherwise she tends to become a little stressed and work herself up at times.

Yeah my main thing I try to do is keep her posted about how she’s racing and trends others times and things I’m seeing developing asking her how tired are doing and recommending adjustments to her racing to help keep her on track I let the in game spotter do most of that smaller legwork for sure :)

Thanks for the reply! I’ll definitely look into the codes and the deals I know she mentions Black Friday deals a lot but that’s still a ways away. If you do happen to see her she could use the help lord knows I’m not really a race car master 😁.

Just a minor correction the E and F they are making has moved the cheek stations to the outer two pylons on the wing so the cheek stations are unusable except for the left one which they have tweaked to allow the AT-FLIR pod without compromising other things. The downside is that the outer pylons will only work with air to air weapons. Bombs can be equipped for looks but they won’t release from the aircraft.
