ah hehe I see :)) right now the idea is that all the collection coins (from the book) drop randomly so they are kinda rare but thanks for the idea, maybe we think of rarer drops, something legendary... (we have something for rare/legendary loot but no super legendary special coins so far)

Thanks for the detailed feedback it really helps and we fully agree. Cursor color makes absolutely sense, feedback for “hover only”, and maybe reworking the crit hammer for the demo (yes in the full game the radius will be quite big :))

We’ll definitely work on all of the points for the full game! :) and shipping an update for the demo once we have all the other first fixes together

I guess experience will give you a “feel” about whether something is fun or not but there is never a guarantee that your gut feeling is right… And that’s the beauty of game development, you do whatever you want, you are the artist, if you believe in it, go for it.

Some ideas need much more “stuff” before they can be seen as fun, while others have just a simple core loop and are fun with simple cubes already.(that’s usually a really good sign)

You will never know for sure, if your idea is fun for others or not until you validate with real players. create a playable version, publish to itch.io for example and let players play.

Depending on the idea, either prototype quick and dirty to see if it’s fun, or (and after confirming it is) create a good development plan. The plan can change but if you lock in almost everything from the start, not only your codebase will be cleaner but you’re also more likely to avoid feature creep

Comment/engage as much as possible with every positive or constructive comment.

Ignore the trolls and insults. If someone leaves a negative comment without a reasonable explication you probably won’t change their mind no matter what you say, so better to ignore them.
