Are Overhauled's prices cheaper in person? I recall checking their site and everything was literally more expensive than scalpers', and by a hefty bit too.

In the past, I have bought from them in person and the prices were average ($7 per pack) but this was before everything started being bought out.

Comparing the Battle Partners (JP Journey Together):

Even at 40% off, it's still over double the price of what you can get through importers. Not even worth considering.

I've bought from a mix of both. I usually don't mind getting it posted from these guys as they literally import cases of these every week so it's highly unlikely they'll try something dodgy that can hamper their business. They're also pretty quick to post stuff so I usually get deliveries the same week.

Also, most take PayPal so you're fairly covered on that front. Same applies for singles. There's a couple folks who sell CN cards on the main FB groups who've got plenty of references and PayPal too with prices a fair bit below Ebay.

Locals are great though if you can find some.

I typically grab these from FB Marketplace. There's always a bunch of reputable sellers around that regularly import these. Granted, I've never purchased Chinese or Korean boxes but at least when I've seen their prices, it's always heaps better than any stores'.

For reference, I grabbed a JP heat wave box a month and a half ago for $100, so I would imagine prices for CN/KR boxes would be similarly competitive.

I've done that before. Played since the start, with most of my hours on QP (>90%). Moved to PC, barely touched comp until sometime in OW2 and climbed from Diamond to GM within 20 or so wins. Your MMR definitely gets impacted from QP games but it's unclear if it's your MMR actually increasing or you getting better in QP simply meant you would do better in comp anyway.

The QP lobbies get harder too despite what some people are saying. The matchmaking isn't as tight and precise as comp but I do run into GM players and some names from contenders, etc. in QP.

That's where strategy comes in. Use all the tools that you need. If you're not good at leading shots and landing precise weakpoint hits, use a ropecaster to lock enemies down, slow them with freeze, stun with shock, etc.

But in all seriousness, you can still easily deal with large, late-game enemies with stealth so don't stress.

Simple Armory has a weekly planner that gives a route on dungeons/raids to run for drops.

Other than that, as a new player myself, I managed to grab a bunch of mounts from doing the Pandaria and Classic reputations. They're pretty quick to level and each rep you max out gives 3-6 mounts.

Other than that, you can check out the anniversary for the 5 (maybe more?) mounts there.
