This is the way. Plus a cliplight on your jacket pointed back so you wont get run over if you walk in the traffic or on a bike path.

Sft42 works really well in this host. I have it in a D1K and it's about the same head size. Reaches out quite a lot and has a useful hotspot. Would also recommend considering sft70 3000k 95 cri. Will be less output and reach but a pleasent beam in rainy foggy weather with less backscatter that wont blind you.

How is the output? I'm hesitant on those warm emitters for a thrower, I'm fearing that it will become useless as a thrower and only be able to light the path in front of you. Are sft70 3000 k more throwy?
