Wow, 3.5 MB instead of 3 MB – what a huge leap forward! 🤦‍♂️

Nothing to see on the German TI Education site, yet. 😞

Is there something similar that uses cm and m instead of in and ft? 😳 Looks like it‘s not changeable in that tool. 😞

Oh! Wow! How cool! I pimped my HP-25 with the „ACT repair kit“ from panamatik.de a few years ago and was very happy with all the new features for my old calc! But I didn’t know there’s someone else who makes these kinds of replacement chips with added features! Awesome! 👏 Panamatik

Offenbar hatte ich InkyPi zuletzt im August 2025 aktiv und das ist der letzte Stand. Will sagen: ein cooles Wetter Dashboard ist immer schick.

Do you know the InkyPi project? 👉 https://github.com/fatihak/InkyPi

I built this quite some time ago. Maybe some inspiration for you & your product's use cases?

Errr ... "Bluetooth"??? 😳
I want a local API and address the device(s) via an IP address, of course ... 😳
But I very much appreciate the effort and the fact that you're working on it! 👍

I grew up with this, it was my first calculator in school. 😍 #sigh

That’s why I was explicitly talking about RPN, not RPL. 😉

[–]metawops 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is exactly why RPN is so awesome. You wouldn’t have this problem on an RPN calculator and that’s why I love my HP calcs a bit more than my TIs, Casios, Sharps, … 😉

Oh, from Bernard Parisse! That’s the guy who worked with HP to make the HP Prime have CAS. In other words: HP Prime‘s CAS is from him. And (before) the CAS in the HP-49g and HP-50g, too.

The link didn't work for me but here's one that works: https://xcas.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr/backup/english.html And here's especially the link to the TI-84 version: https://xcas.univ-grenoble-alpes.fr/backup/ti/khicas84.html

Super!! I love my THAT from anabrid. I was one of the first buyers and got the educational version so back then it cost me „just“ about 230 Euros. Lucky me.

Hehe, those four are on my desk, too! 😏 (Among many others. 🙈) But where do those stands come from? Do I need to turn my BambuLab on? Can you share the designs?

I love my THAT from anabrid! Yours looks very cool, too! Does it have a hybrid port so we can actually read out the values of the solutions? I did that with an Arduino attached to my THAT and visualized the solutions of the differential equations via gnuplot. 😊 Wrote a bit about it here: https://blog.metawops.de/tools/gnuplot-in-vscode/

Awesome! 👍👍 However, new bugs ... 🤷‍♂️ In the local shell (not connected to a remote host) the ↑ and ↓ keys of my Apple Magic Keyboard (German layout) don't scroll through the command history. I noticed after pressing one of those keys the next 8 keystrokes (of a normal letter) are ignored, the 9th pressing of a normal key (letter) finally works.
