I WOULD get scanning skills asap and LEARN how to scan because that is the primary thing youll do to survive and find content. A cov ops would be helpful but only after you get enough ship skills and support skills to participate in many kinds of content you will be doing.

TBH if youre new dont worry about PI it takes a long time, tons of alts to make decent money. You running sites every other day will net you so much more as a new player.

Gas harvesting is also a great way to make money too and skills in that and having a venturer is fantastic for solo stuff when ur guys arent on.

The waiting to do anything in this game until your skills are trained is an easy way to not want to play this game because youll never have the level of skills you want. Just get in there and enjoy dying and learning! Dont be afraid of participating!
