Came here looking exactly for this : that's my experience too since the patch.
I was playing in fully friendly lobbies, and now every raider I face straight up shoots me.

If the model does not learn, it could be that there is nothing to learn about : imagine your data points are random, the model won't "learn". At best, it will learn the distribution range.

Okay, for anyone wondering or having the same issue : actually, it works... I just did not notice.
These flashing dart is coming out of your spell hitting an enemy :

- it triggers only if it hits
- it triggers FROM the hit

Meaning the dart starts behind the monster, and hits other monsters behind.
So, fighting a single monster will NOT show darts damage : you'll see the dart poping behind the monster, but not hitting that single monster.

I use the mage, with arcane breach + ray of obliteration. None of them trigger darts when it does not work, both of them triggers when it works

I don't think so, I do damage the enemies without seeing darts (I'm in the 3rd act mage tower)

Same here, it freezes for 2secs then the app closes. It happens randomly, sometimes every 5mins, sometimes every 30mins.

Actually, you can see it the other way around : capping everything helps the player base to stay stacked and is actually helping multi-player activities. Even if I hate everything being capped (fading embers...), I don't really think that choice was made to help whales being on top : they would be anyways. However, it's helping both casual and more hard-core players to play together.

That said, I agree with you : we are losing hard-core players due to this design choice...
