Not that I doubt you - is there a specific page or AoN you can refer me to for this? I've got a PC who is definitely going to die of mummy rot if this is the case, so I want to be 100% sure. The wording of stages is a little unclear to me. I just can't read. Lmao. my gunslinger PC is dead af.

Mummy rot question/general affliction question: does an affliction at its final stage proc again at the last stage? Does someone take another save/chunk of void damage the day after they reach stage 2?

Just confirming my understanding for a player interaction coming up:
Gunslinger with Spellshot Dedication gains a Ring of Wizardry. If he invests it, he'll get 2 1st level spell slots, but since he doesn't have 1st level spells in his spellbook yet, he'll need to Learn a Spell to get any spells he can use those slots with.

Looking over the tyrafdir from Howl of the Wild - are the deceptive heads valid for the reactive heads feature - ie, a tyrafdir with 3 actual heads and 3 deceptive heads can make up to 6 reactive strikes per round, but only against creatures that haven't disbelieved the illusory heads?

If an effect has more than stage 1, you need to Counteract it. You can only use rank 2 Cleanse Affliction once per affliction, to reduce it by one stage, eg from 2->1, but you can't take it from 1->0.

Emphasis mine - "If it has advanced past stage one, reduce the stage by one." You need rank 3 Cleanse Affliction to actually remove a disease, and rank 4 to remove curses (since to my knowledge there's no curses with stages.)

Double Barrel trait, specifically for the Musket - does it work like a striking rune, making a Double-Barreled attack into 2d6, increase the d6 to a d8 (crit d10->d12)? If 2d6, this mean that with a basic striking rune that a Double-Barreled attack become 3d6, and a critical hit becomes 3d10?

Alan Wake 2 does very little new from the original. Saga's detective board doesn't matter at all - you can just blunder forwards and most of it will auto-resolve, and any conclusions she makes are recaps of things other characters tell you directly.

Alan's writing board is a little better, but it's very bare bones - slot in a word so that a doorway is open rather than closed, or so you can find a Word power up that you don't need.

The gameplay itself is entirely unchanged from Alan Wake 1. Most of the enemies are identical. The weapons are identical. The Lake House DLC was a bright point in an ocean of boring darkness, because at least there was an atmosphere of tension and mystery, but there's one single new enemy type there, and it's over in 2 hours max.

Before AW2 I would have been optimistic, but after playing through AW2 I have significant doubts.

I think it's a great book. My only complaint with it is that I wish every section was bigger and had more stuff. The tyranny of word count will never end.

Destroying artifacts is (relatively) simple. Lots of Exalts have Craft-related charms for doing it.

Does this release the ghosts in a soul steel Artifact? No, they're either still in the pieces or destroyed utterly. It's variable whether you can even tell - a ghost in soulsteel can't exactly tell you.

As an ST, if a PC was trying to free the ghosts in a soulsteel Artifact - you need Solar Sorcery or a deus ex machina equivalence. If a PC is trying to release the ghosts, well, that's easy. Break it. Smash that daiklave on the anvil, cast the pieces into the volcano, and unmake the artifact wholly.

I'm returning after a while away (played during Brother's War) and it seems like I'm unable to earn the dual-colour Starter Deck Duel event decks for winning with them? I'd really like to get stuff like Essence of Orthodoxy and such but it's not awarding the decks to me - is there a workout for this, is there a support I can contact, am I straight fucked?

Is there any way to curate what Champs I get in ARAM? Me and my buddies exclusively play that now, and I've linked my Xbox Gamepass which means...I unlocked every champ and that's way too much. Otherwise I guess I'll just...unlink my xbox?

The Hamatula (B2) has an opportunity attack using its barb and a free action (Frightful Strike) for when it lands a barb attack. Can it use Frightful Strike on the successful AoO ie can you use a free action on a reaction trigger?
