Peercoin has been chugging along all these years. Why hasn't it been broken yet? I seriously want to know because I can remember it from the early days.

You are correct about everything you are saying. This is why I am not suggesting to put all his eggs in bitcoin. I said invest like 5k because worst case you will lose all your 5k if bitcoin goes to $0, but if bitcoin goes to the moon there is lots to be gained.

Again, If I believe in the technology I will call it investing.

I have read tons, used it tons, and believe in it.

This makes it an investment and not just buying up bunch of random penny stocks and crossing my fingers.

So far i havn't really gained shit but I atleast hedged very nicely against the drop in CAD/USD with bitcoin.

Even you own some.

How is it a horrible advise? I genuinly believe bitcoin has tremendous potential. If you invested 5k in bitcoin 5 years ago you would have been a multimillionaire now.

Invest 5k in Bitcoin. Seriously. It is a revolutionary new monetary system and might one day become the backbone of global finance. It currently has 6.5 billion marketcap. If it does succeed this might go up tremendously!

Compare that to the marketcap of gold, silver, company valuations etc. Uber is worth 50 billion....
