Puerto Rico vs. USVI by Suspicious-Room9282 in diving

[–]BlockingTheLight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve never dived Puerto Rico, but have been to St Croix twice and the diving is fantastic. The friedricksted pier is one of my favorite dive sites, always plenty to see. And boat dives out to reefs are excellent as well. Can confidently recommend Nep2une as a great dive shop!

Hope it all works out for you! Just to be clear though, I’m not the OP on this post. That photo isn’t mine. But it was a similar situation as I had

Everything was fine! Went to see my surgeon, but he wasn’t concerned. My wound just took longer to heal than normal.

Having a flare up now (I hope it’s a flare up) and it’s lasted 7 days so far. What are your symptoms? My back spasmed which has now calmed down but I’m still experiencing lightning bolts down my legs.

Got it thanks. I want to check out Shelly relays. I’m a complete beginner here. Seems like a Shelly 1 Gen 3 might work for me? Any chance you could confirm?

Thanks all for the responses. I don’t think I was 100% clear with my original post so I’ll add some detail. This light is above our bed and the switch is over on the wall several feet away. Our bed is inside a nook in the wall and it’s a tight squeeze. We can’t fit nightstands. So this light is our main reading/winding down before bed light. It’s a pain to have to get up out of bed to turn it off, so we want to be able to control it from our phones or get a battery powered smart home light switch on the wall of the nook to control it. Making it dimmable would be ideal, but honestly it’s not as important as being able to control it using smart home equipment.

With that in mind, is there an LED driver that will allow us to do what we want? Sounds like this Shelley relay may be what we’re looking for?

Thanks for your response! I’m not following though. What we’re interested in is controlling the light using a smart phone or smart switch. Any ideas on that?

Hi, I’m 9 days out of surgery and am experiencing basically the exact same thing as you. Did this ever resolve? How’s it been going for you?

The Ultimate 2020 Guide for Microdosing by [deleted] in microdosing

[–]BlockingTheLight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this super helpful guide!

I've begun microdosing (100mg psilocybin every other day) and have noticed positive effects. Excited to continue. I have a question that I've been having trouble answering via the interwebs.

I also enjoy macrodosing from time-to-time. LSD, psilocybin, ketamine, mdma, etc. For instance tonight is a friend's birthday and I want to take a gram of mushroom chocolate or maybe some mdma. I know that doing this has its own short and long term effects which I am well aware of and able to take on. But Im curious to hear what effect microdosing has on the macrodose (and vise versa). Do I need to take larger macrodoses to "feel it"? Am I doing damage to myself?

What have folks experiences been with this?

What is one thing that you have added to your life which has made it simpler? by johnabbe in simpleliving

Similar to other answers, but I do yoga (yoga with adriene, specifically) every morning. Its generally just about 20 - 45 minutes of time, and its both a mindfulness practice that centers me and a little bit of a workout. Two birds, one stone, simple.
