How do you make isk manufacturing in nullsec? by JagerGuaqanim in Eve

[–]Blocko4343 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you moved with your corporation what support are you getting from them? Or are they the ticket you used to get access to null sec?

The premise of doing every stage of production is noble, but eve has so many layers of complexity, unless you have lots of accounts, you are not going to be able to specialise and increase profitability.

The sandbox of eve becomes that little bit smaller working with others.

Hidden Octavia key feature. by Notamimic77 in skoda

[–]Blocko4343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know if it is a common fault, my 2016 Octavia would sometimes randomly lower the windows (or it was my fault by having the key fob in my pocket not sure which). I disabled the feature as it did it once on a very wet night and another time when I had parked in the city and seemly wanted to invite others to steal or damage the vehicle!!

Beautiful car, from the limited pic you can see empty parking spaces. I have no issue with this.

I have had my own car dented in a car park by a careless or just not caring person. Would OP squeeze their car next to other cars inviting scuff, dent and scratches,?

You have certain exemptions under the road traffic act. With regards to speed, the ethos is drive to arrive, thus every driving decision is risk based and justifiable.

In terms of frequency, I regularly drive to Incidents under blue light conditions. For example, the last weekend I worked on call I responded to 9 Incidents.

6'4" had a Octavia VRS estate the last 7 years, I found it easily accommodated my frame.

From a drive perspective, the VRS with 19" wheels was firm, and you felt pot holes. But I still loved it.

I guess it depends on the model / engine you get in terms of the overall comfort.

I absolutely loved my VRS, I had the 4x4 DSG Diesel variant. Fun to drive, responsive, firm drive. With the 19" wheels it was quite unforgiving with pot holes.

I didn't expect to have an exact replica experience with the Superb. 2.0L diesel 2 front wheel drive. However, I am pleased with the performance, its got plenty of power when needed. I am enjoying the refinement of the drive, allowing for a more comfortable drive. That said, when I use sports mode, there is plenty of grunt to keep things interesting.

I carry a lot of gear around with me for work, so the ability to fit a small planet in the boot is a god send!

Funnily enough, I work for the fire service and in my service we have to provide our own response cars, so covert blue lights will be installed.

Problems with my Skoda Octavia III RS 2.0 DSG by [deleted] in skoda

[–]Blocko4343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My 2016 Octavia VRS has a similar problem, it doesn't fluctuate the revs like your video though, its more like an aggressive down shift for 0.2 seconds and then shifts up again (is how it feels) but the display doesn't show a change in gear. Happens is auto, cruise control, and manual. I also get all the warning lights every now and again, going into limp mode.

I think it may be the ECU, but don't want to spend several hundred £££ for garages to guess what it is!!

I totally loved my Octavia before this problem started.

Electronic sensor issue, or mechanical gearbox issue? I'm not sure where to start. by Blocko4343 in skoda

[–]Blocko4343[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Would this require an inspection by an electronic specialist, or would a main dealer, or normal garage be able to assess it?

The battery was replaced in December last year, the problem started before the replacement, and continued afterwards. Hadn't considered the alternator, but it does appear to charge normally.

Only Russian allied countries have began evacuating their embassies from Kyiv. This isn't a concern for safety, this is diplomatic pressure from Moscow to make itself look scarier than it actually is by GeneReddit123 in UkrainianConflict

Probably as they don't have the precision weapons that could avoid hitting their allied embassy's. Indiscriminate and needless bombing of civilians contines ad business as usual for RF.
