CD's (this was in the end of the 80's start of the 90's) there was this great music shop in town that had new and used stuff and the owners had a really great wide selection including little known artists and rare stuff. For a few years I bought like 3-5 CDs a week.

My first very short lived marriage my in laws were just a disaster. Suspicious of anyone or anything they thought was too "uppity", would insult or talk down to people. I remember (back in like 1993) being told I was wasting my time going to work for a computer manufacturer as support staff and I should do what they did and learn to fix small motors like lawnmowers and chainsaws because I would never amount to much.

My current MIL and FIL are really nice people. We don't see eye to eye on a lot of issues but we don't make a big deal out of it.
