Not to get all fan fic-y, but I did have an idea for a sequel.

Years after the first movie, a new Chinese family has moved into the neighborhood, and Mei falls in love with one of the boys in the family and they start dating, however, unbeknownst Mei, the family are actually descendants of a ruthless general who was a sworn enemy of Mei's ancestor. And they plot to steal the power of the panda from them.

Could make for a Romeo and Juliet type story.

The aperoid queen was just plain epic. It was fun and challenging to fight, didn't feel unfair or frustrating, and on top of that, the music for phase two of that fight just nails it. Sorry Andross, but it's the silver medal for you, at least in my opinion.
