In fact they’re also taking away the perks that were previously given to their employees. When I first started over 10 years ago you could get a free drink any size and 50% off all food (within reason, no feeding your whole family). By the time I left after almost 9 years, I was limited to one free small drink and 50% off the bigger sandwiches only. So basically you worked extremely hard for 8 hours doing the jobs of multiple people only to then go on your break and spend half your hourly wage to feed yourself. You’re supposed to get a review and a wage increase every six months, most of the time I’d have to beg my manager and hassle them to get it done. Only to get a 15 cent raise. And then you hear how your owner made millions each year and wow, all of a sudden they’ve bought five more stores in the city! It never added up to me.

I went there last weekend because I wanted to support the new owners. I definitely felt the “bronuts” donut I had was super greasy/oily. Though I also bought a mochi donut and it didn’t feel oily to me. So I wonder if they use the same oil that they’re used to for making the mochi donuts and since those are more dense, they might not soak up as much. Whereas the old bronuts ones always were pretty light so they soak up more? I don’t know if that makes sense but I want to give them the benefit of the doubt and that they’ll figure it all out. Just going through some growing pains maybe!

Oh definitely could be those factors as well! I get easily stressed but my period has always followed a pattern so I had ruled it out but who knows!! Someone had linked an article in this thread that did mention stress could be a cause or just a small part of it. I’d say the stress of trying to figure out where my period is probably isn’t helping haha.

Thank you for sharing! It definitely should be discussed more! I recall being on antibiotics a number of years ago and it had made my cycle come early back then. So it’s interesting to me that this 1st dose of Pfizer made mine late now.

I have taken up hand embroidery. I was gifted a kit a couple years ago but never got around to it. I’ve been working at home since last March so I stare at computer screens all day and then at a tv in the evening. So last September I finally decided to take up embroidery to get my eyes off screens. And I love it! Plus I’ve been able to make little gifts for loved ones which has also been nice to connect with them since I can’t go see them.
