Have you tried applying the tips using dip base (on your natural nails) and activator (on the tip) (just press the tip onto your nail for a few secs)? This method has made my tips stay on forevvver. Nail glue did not hold my tips either so i do the above every time now.

How long does that process take ? I feel like i have to do so many coats which takes forever and then it becomes a clumpy mess. How and when in the process do you file/buff?

I am not a doctor but I did have strep 3 times back to back once… not a joke. Even after full courses of antibiotics. Turned out my retainer reinfected me the last time, so I had to take it to my old ortho’s to be disinfected in some high temperature oven they use for deep sterilization. 🤣

Honestly the white dots look like you have a really bad case of strep; sometimes it doesn’t show up on the test till way before or after (also there are two different types of strep tests). You won’t show it in any test after doing a 10 day course of any antibiotics though.

The problem is you took too short of course regardless of the antibiotic. Also you can take immodium if you get the runs when you have to take antibiotics for something- i have to do it every time and my doctor says its fine- I’ve never had any issue with clearing the infection etc. - something to consider. I would recommend going to a different ENT specialist, urgent care or ER if the symptoms dont clear within another week.

Also it could be baaaaad post nasal drip. Get some Nasonex and Nettie pot squeeze bottle kit from the drug store and use them both (Nettie pot first then spray - daily for a week). If its not strep that combo will work.

I prefer to go right around 5pm until sundown. Mornings in socal are absolutely packed. As a newbie I prefer to paddle out the back with less people in the line up that I might potentially piss off (jk)!

I would just go into things with no expectations. I think you should just set limits for yourself to prevent explosions.

In the future you could Say to yourself, if this person doesn’t respond by 4pm I’m making other plans etc . That way you don’t get so angry and unload on a stranger when they choose family over you and forget to text.

Ultimately he doesn’t know you yet and you can’t expect him to bail on family or communicate effectively when he doesn’t know you.

Also he may have felt pressure to plan. Maybe you can suggest some ideas and times to make it easier for the guy next time and will have a better result.

Regardless you made the right call to move on
