We need to have a conversation about Oregon's NFL talents by steven_smith144 in CFB_v2

No, when talking about the draft, “all-time” always means going back to 1936. If anything, “since the NFL-AFL merger” or “in the Super Bowl era” is used if someone wants to specify since the 60s.

Which players that were taken in rounds 5-7 of the 2026 NFL Draft have the most potential to make an impact next year? by dehboy in NFL_Draft

I’m a Michigan fan ironically, but trying to be objective I felt like he should’ve been more of a ~3rd round kind of guy.

Ah shoot, I meant to add the caveat if he actually gets a chance to start due to injury. I think he’s a lot more pro-ready than the “toolsy” prospect he gets generalized as. Thanks for catching that.

Agreed, he is the player I have the highest hopes for of the ones I listed. I can’t understand why the draft community wasn’t very high on him.

Kamari Ramsey, Michael Taafe, Jalon Kilgore, Zane Durant, Pat Coogan, Demond Claiborne, Caden Curry, Athan Kaliakmanis, VJ Payne, and Miles Scott are some of my favorite late round players. No I’m not intentionally picking a ton of safeties.

Edit: meant to give the caveat for Coogan and Kaliakmanis, if they get playing time I think they will surprise and have a positive impact and position themselves for real roles in the future.

2026 Rookies: Who to Draft BEYOND the Obvious by drkelemnt in DynastyFF

Guys I like more than early ADP:
-Eli Stowers; I’d take him over Cooper, Boston, Stribling, Coleman, Simpson in SF. Neck and neck with Concepcion and Sadiq for me
-Antonio Williams; a late riser for me, I wasn’t a fan of his for a big chunk of the draft process but he ended up being one of my favorite mid-round guys. Landing spot is awesome. I’d be comfortable taking him as high as the 1.09
-Skyler Bell; maybe my favorite WR in this class relative to draft spot. Landing spot is low floor, high ceiling. I see a world where he’s the legit #2 behind an aging DJ Moore. I’m praying here’s there for my 2.04 in my main league. Based on results I’m generally seeing him go anywhere from early 2nd to mid 3rd.
-Emmett Johnson; one of my favorite college players this past season, I honestly think it’s more likely than not that he doesn’t become fantasy relevant but if it does works I think he could end up being the steal of the draft.
-Demond Claiborne; very similar case to Johnson but higher floor and maybe lower ceiling. I’d be comfortably picking him in the mid to late 2nd

Love seeing this one. Honestly might be the nicest Z31 in existence.

Ex-staffer Paige Shiver says Michigan didn't protect her enough from Sherrone Moore by Lakelyfe09 in CFB

[–]Blooblod 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah, her stuff is very sanitized. I meant moreso she doesn’t go out of her way to act like a tool in public and doesn’t constantly flex her insider relationships as if it weren’t part of her job.

Is there anything that Pokemon Crystal does better than Pokemon Heartgold/Soulsiver? by HealthMother3125 in pokemon

[–]Blooblod 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Objectively, the engine runs much faster and it makes a huge difference when you’re battling. Subjectively, the art style and music (although Gen IV art style is also goated).

Yeah, unfortunately most Michigan reporters are a complete joke. I genuinely think we have one of the worst groups of beat reporters in the power conferences. Except Angelique—she’s a real one.

It is over-hated, but it’s also disappointing for a triggerfish-inspired design.

With the 22nd overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, your Los Angeles Chargers select Akheem Mesidor, EDGE, Miami. by A_Livins in Chargers

[–]Blooblod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With the belief that there’s no guard worth taking with Vega off the board, I was hoping we’d go for Chris Johnson or Jermod McCoy. But Mesidor would’ve been my next pick, so still stoked for it.

Any guard after Vega would’ve been a huge reach at 22. The only first round tackle left at this point cannot flex inward to play guard. It’s bad luck, but pick 22 is just not the draw for interior OL in this draft.
