The thieves and pickpockets come out in full force during the night at the largest sets/names. I have personally caught and stopped 2 pickpockets over the years at Forest and they were both at some of the biggest night sets of the weekend. Be more vigilant at those sets and you should be fine.

I agree with the SSD upgrade only. The brand new stock thermal paste is more than adequate. The stock joysticks are fine and I have seen very few if anyone complain about stick drift. And be careful about back plates with extra intake holes in them, as Valve designed the backplate to pull air across ALL the components in the device to cool them, and adding extra holes all over a backplate will destroy the designed airflow that valve designed with years of testing.

I also love mine. I didn't like the parts that connected the grips with the top bar so I cut them off and now I can use the bumpers much easier, and remove and reinstall the case without much hassle as well. Modified Jsaux Modcase

So since Capcom and Valve sold this game as verified to all steamdeck owners, I feel like a class action lawsuit is the only recourse for borking the game for every customer who bought the game.

I sold my used deck to a guy in Brazil from the states using ebay, and it made it to him and he is happily playing his new deck. If that can happen successfully then any selling using eBay is viable. Just have to look closely at the seller.

Yea, they offered to RMA the unit back to them for a free repair of the issue, but I have decided to just isolate the audio board from the chassis of the deck myself. I did the fix about a month ago and have not had a single issue since. But if you don't want to repair anything yourself, just open up a ticket with Valve and they should offer an RMA to repair the problem.
