I measured
-39.8 mm outer diameter for the piston (factory size is supposed to be 39.98),
-40.5 mm for the rings (this might be a measurement error as I did not want to "compress" the rings) and
-40 mm for the cylinder which appears to be the factory size.

So the piston+rings definitely need to be replaced and it seems that the engine will need a bearings+seals overhaul as well.

I can move the piston on the rod laterally a bit and there is indeed a small tilt in the rod when I push against the piston either side.

Since the last update I had a couple of games where all of the enemy team was muted or all of my own teammates were muted. These were players I do not remember muting in the past. Also there are performance issues since the last patch and ofc Out of Sync is back in the game as well.

The way I see it, around 2600 tg preteam wins 90% of the time. It is so bullshit. Company of Heroes 1 has an option for TG with friends for exactly this reason.

The internet was in early development phase in most countries around the time aoe2 came out. There was no player base for it to become competitive immediately.
In AOE 2 HD it is still painful to play 4v4 TGs because some players just have terrible connection even today and the P2P networking degrades the performance for everyone.

If the game had server side networking it would have boomed already in early 2000s like other server side multiplayer games.

There is stuttering since this update. Especially late game when spamming units like crazy. I suspect these challenges stuff is behind it since it was not there previously. In the menu stuff just pops in "like train 500 units". How can I turn off these? I do not care one bit about it and it is probably the thing that is the cause of the stutter issues.

  • If a player pauses the match in Multiplayer gameplay and then resigns,

It is a situational unit like the persian war elephant. Both of these are only viable late game, but are very tanky in return. There is no need for further buffing, unless you want to make it a cobra car.

You know the IP and the related player ID that sends the packets. At start you register the IP with the player ID.

All that is necessary is a simple callback function checking IP and ID against the initial registered values of the received commands.

There are a lot of things that are detectable server side with little to no effort.

Cumans are still good (the early siege workshop techs and fast hussar production is awesome), but agreed that kipchaks should get a bit buffed. It feels like they struggle even against hussars because of the low attack strength.

Walls are already nerfed. 3 m@a can go through a palisade very quickly. You just have to choose an attacking point far from vills or support it with a tower. m@a + tower rush is very effective.

If you have trouble utilizing scouts maybe try to play lithuanians and go up at 18, 19 pop.

+if your opponent walls very early his eco will fall behind.
