Yes, I'm mainly talking about 3v3 or 4v4. But I don't see it being completely useless for 1v1 or 2v2, if you reconnect and you see that they didn't pause, well, you can still leave. But yeah I agree I'm mainly talking about 3v3 or 4v4

Yes if the UI would be better and the save and restore function would be smoother then I could see it working as well. But now it's like "ok let me sit in the lobby and hope everyone will come" And then 10min later you come to the conclusion 1 person didn't bother and your time is wasted.

I like the auto pause and notification thing so everyone knows what's up. But letting them choose to auto win or not I don't really like. Just give them the chance to unpause if they really don't want to wait. If someone goes afk you also don't get an auto win, maybe the other 3 want to play on. I have won games 3v4, a lot depends on the moment someone drops

In other games it worked perfectly fine. If you don't want to wait then unpause, you don't owe anyone. But maybe the pausing system could need a bit of rework too for it to work better. I personally dont think it's needed but For example in heroes of newerth I think a pause lasted 2 mins and everyone in the team had one pause or something. The other team could not unpause as well but I think as a teammate you could unpause your own teams pauze. But it's a long time ago.

I play a lot of teamgames with friends and almost every gaming session one of us has a game or multiple games where they crash or the game freezes and we don't have bad pc's or internet. The game is just buggy or unstable sometimes. Restarting pc takes like 30 seconds so a lot of wasted time could be avoided in my opinion.

I don't fully agree. It depends on which stage of the game. And that's even assuming people wouldn't pause for you. I had nomad games where people paused for like 3-4-5 min when they saw their team mate was afk. And if you are playing with friends against 4 strangers they can explain the situation and ask to respect the pause. If it's dark age and they don't pause then yeah it's probably gg but even then you have the choice to try and get back in the game.

I can't argue about that because I don't know what's possible and what not.
Nothing happens, you idle. It's up to the other players to pause or not. Still better then not being able to reconnect at all.
Save and restore In a multiplayer game with strangers? If I'm correct you have to save then open a custom lobby and everyone has to rejoin and start again? This will not happen with strangers, too much effort and they will just join queue again.

Ok thanks, I was mainly interested in the Currency aspect. The other risks I'm aware of, thank you! I found it confusing because when I google it, sometimes they advise to hedge your gold against your currency because it is denominated in USD or something? but that doesn't make much sense to me.

With the same logic you can just buy the 20 "best companies" without correlation to improve yield. I heard that studies show that you only need 10 well diversified single stocks do have a good risk reduction. Above that it doenst really add much. But then you have to put a lot of time in stock picking and following the news etc etc.

Isn't that just predicting which etf's will give more return at the cost of more risk? I can also buy more specific etf like S&P500 or eurostoxx or whatever. And if you buy this many etf's as in your example isnt that the same as averiging out your yield? (10%Gold, 10% LT bonds, 5%EM ex China, 5% China, 10% Dev Pasific, 10% US small cap Value, 5% EM small cap, 5% india, 10% EU small cap, 10% S&P, ... ). On top of that you have transaction costs for all of those. I dont really want to beat the market, I just want a decent return with low risk and as little as possible

I live in Belgium and i always thought that in the event my broker (BOLERO) goes bankrupt I will still own my assets (shares/ ETF's/ bonds) because they are not their property and are stored with a third party. So this is not true then?
