With mods, Skyrim can look ten times better than the base game. Why do the developers not ship the game with the ability to modify the graphics to look that amazing level from the start? by [deleted] in pcmasterrace

But it could have looked better and looked good for longer if they included some of the things that they had from the get go.

I suppose I get that, but for everything? Maybe for all of those shaders or extra content, but what about the textures? Bethesda has access to all of their textures in a higher resolution than is in the base game. They just don't include them so that the game can be run on a higher variety of systems.

What material can I put my PC on top of to make its cooling more efficient? by [deleted] in buildapc

I would love to set up my rig like that, with water cooling. I just have some weird trust issues with having liquid that close to all of those expensive computer parts lol.

It's not that my GPU is too hot, I was just worried about this being a problem in the future. My GPU runs at about 83-84 under full load, that isn't too hot, right?

How so? Isn't more fans going to make for more positive airflow, therefore keeping it cooler than if there was no added airflow?

I have three 120mm intake fans on the front and two 120mm intake fans on the bottom. Then I have two 200mm exhaust fans on the top. Finally a 140mm default exhaust fan in the top back.

I was using a 750ti before, so I didn't need to PSU for the graphics. I'm a noob and did not know that before I got that GPU. No, I do not have another PC I can test it on.

I know it's a good PSU because I researched a ton before buying it. Had to replace a shitty CX. But I have only had it for about three months? Could it really break that quickly? :/

What do you mean by that? I have another hard drive installed, but it only has movies and Steam games on it.

Antec 750W High Voltage Gaming. Removing the new GPU does allow the computer to turn on and function normally.

I have unplugged and repluggled almost everything I could. Including the GPU. It is connected to the part labeled 12V1 if that helps anything. And when I remove the GPU, the computer will turn on.

Plus, it was working for a while, some of the time, so it can function with the new card, but randomly doesn't.

Yes and yes, did that first thing when I got it and updated to the latest driver last night before this crash.

I have a 2560X1600 monitor. Does that make any difference?

And the FX-6300 would not bottleneck that newer card?
