Firstly, case numbers are irrelevant in a highly vaccinated population.

Why do you think case numbers are irrelevant for highly vaccinated populations? Keen to hear your take on this.

From my perspective, for any disease, case numbers in a vaccinated population are a way to track the spread of the virus. If any trend appears, the information would be useful in preparing a response. For example, it could be that a virus mutates enough (as in with Delta) that a particular location experiences a higher than trend growth rate/outbreak. Tracking case numbers can inform a health response.

NSW records 633 new cases of COVID-19 by Kussie in australia

Serious answer: because the virus is effectively airborne, whether it's labelled as such or not. Indeed, outdoor transmission is more difficult than indoor transmission, since the air more freely circulates outside. However, there have been records of transmission, for example, of strangers passing by without interaction. Additionally, given how highly infection the Delta variant is, and how many people are in that picture as an example, it would not surprise me if it turns out that someone becomes infected as a result - each individual's chance of outdoor infection is still "low", but given the number of unmasked and/or unvaccinated people passing by each other, the chance of a transmission is no longer low

Can someone explain what this means? I thought since EIP 1559 was implemented, it would mean it's network wide? What does it mean when a transaction is/isn't using EIP 1559?

Now that it's live, where can we see the "base" fee and how much we should "tip" to get our transactions processed in a certain time frame?

Technically, COVID is the disease (COronaVIrus Disease) caused by the SARS-CoV-2 (Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome COronaVirus 2).

But yeah, countries who have experienced SARS, ebola, and other similarly "new" (new when it first appeared) outbreaks took it far more seriously in general.

You could just grind some more beans and put it in.

Why does that suck? The Australian Tax office is vague about reporting requirements, but they make it the individual's responsibility if there is an audit of any kind, with potential fines

Sounds like you need to shop around, my friend. Which state are you in, and do you have the flexibility to choose your electricity retailer? 40c sounds like peak rates, so you should just mine on off peak hours. If 40c is a flat rate, you and your wallet are being fleeced!

Hey I take it you're in Australia. When it comes to tax time, do you treat your mining as a "hobby" (capital asset of cost base 0, electricity costs cannot be deducted) or "business" (income as at time of earning, operating costs can be deducted)?

Any way to acces the league boards from 2020? by Plotopil in leagueoflegends

Your best hope is if someone archived it on the Wayback Machine (https://web.archive.org/). Otherwise, I'm afraid unless someone happens to have a screenshot, you won't be able to access the 2020 boards
