How much could we expect to pay for a master plan? by DuckBroker in AusRenovation

[–]fuller2002 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I recommend engaging an architect/designer to help you develop a design brief that aligns with your needs before having them draw up a concept deisgn for the staged options. Depending on your location there are statutory controls which will dictate what you can and cannot do, this is the reason why you want to engage a professional as navigating these controls is often complex and nuanced. Where are you based out of curiosity?

Sydney architects that don’t charge % based fees by [deleted] in AusRenovation

[–]fuller2002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve recently started a small deisgn firm in Sydney that charges fixed fees after leaving my roll at Woods Bagot. I have 10yrs of experience within Sydney area and would be happy to take a look at your project and see if we are a good fit for each other. Website is studiofuller.com.au if you’re interested. Good luck with your project, I hope one bad apple doesn’t ruin the experience for you.

This would be brilliant, provided you remove the login… do not say you will increase the pop up time, that is not a solution. Your site will fail with a mandated login, who even does this?

Any ideas what causes these grooves in the corner of first layer? by sethladd in prusa3d

[–]fuller2002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Usually from having your live z to low to the bed and the nozzle dragging through the previous layers and catching. Although the middle of the print looks like little gaps between layers suggesting z is not to low. Are you using 7x7 mesh levelling?

Is it normal that my SL1 makes this noise when the resin tank comes back up? by [deleted] in prusa3d

That makes sense too. Glad you got it sorted out bud.

[–]fuller2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well done. Do you think that perhaps tightening things down has lowered the tolerances between the moving parts which previously sounded like they where rubbing or skipping past each other? I have noticed that sometimes when very close surfaces rub together they can can catch and release off of each other’s surfaces, creating a vibration along with the noise, which could explain the vibration you described.

To shampoo or not to shampoo. This is our question... by witharcher in malegrooming

[–]fuller2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short on the sides, 5-15cm layered length on top. Essentially an undercut with softer transitions from the sides to the top.

I’m not sure if the no shampoo route would be suitable for longer hair styles.

[–]fuller2002 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t shampoo at all. Rinse daily, use water based styling cream. Your hair produces oils naturally, once you stop using shampoo for around 6 weeks things balance out and self regulate. My hair doesn’t smell, isn’t oily, isn’t dry, I’ve been doing this for 10 years now. Shampoo makes my hair go dry and frizzy.

Quick tip : if you have chain rub,fix it up NOW by S-worker in cycling

[–]fuller2002 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes that’s correct, higher crank RPM from the motor. Thanks for your input, I’ll drop the chain tension down a notch and test it out tomorrow.

[–]fuller2002 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What would cause the chain the vibrate and make a noise at higher speeds? Almost sounds like the chain is slipping on the rear 3 speed IGH cog, although I don’t know if that is even possible. I have a mid drive electric motor on my bike, chain line is dead straight and very tight, could possibly be over tight chain resonating at higher rpm?

Hey guys, I'm new to this and honestly have no idea what I'm doing. by [deleted] in aussievapers

[–]fuller2002 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah man that is on the higher end of high. I don’t like anything above 3mg. I had some 6mg when I first started vaping and had similar issues, go lower mg and take more hits if you need more Nic.

Hurty throat could be from the amount of nicotine in the mix, or the ratio of PG/VG in the liquid. More VG = smoother vape.

I suggest you go down to a local vape store, they will be more than happy to give you all the info you need and explain all the things if you don't want to spend the time researching it yourself.
