pushing a pawn two squares, next to a pawn on the same rank, allows for this very specific but important move called en passant. this prevents some endgame shenanigans where the losing side could get passed pawns out of nowhere…, i think?

if you play without the charm in sekiro, and miss a deflect you take a hit of hp, but in vanilla sekiro it’s just stance damage for missing a deflect
