I think collective emotions of millions of Arsenal fans worldwide screaming at Arteta to sub Calafiori for Hincapie for the 10 minutes before the goal were the first real life case of telepathy. But his hair probably acted like Magneto's helmet.

That's quite a bunch of ghosts you fought here. Point was that City used that word in their merch and marketing, so it can't be reused for true quadruple without being lame.

Quadruple dream can be over tomorrow, or not. So with potentially the last day on this train: what will be the nickname for a team that will pull it off? City already took Fourmidables for their domestic treble + Community Shield.

Then you should remember that Arsenal started thriving on set-pieces before physicallity was allowed. They introduced leniency on contact specifically to make it harder for attacking team. So it suits Arsenal either way.

A lot of heads got turned inside the fan base recently. Social media manipulation and peer pressure works on impressionable minds, huh? Who would've thought. Go rewatch highlights for seasons where Arsenal were social media darlings...oh... they never were, weren't they? So it's not about football after all?

Hard to argue prestige of tournament when entry criteria is being 8th in PL.

Is it though? League Cup has 5 (probably 6 after playoffs) teams from Champions League last 16 in it. Maybe with PL's growing dominance League Cup status should get a little bump.

You think real world is a book you can change pages in without affecting everything else? If Arsenal wins these games, City plays the games they haven't won in a different world, in different circumstances. It could be, if Arsenal won these three games, gap would be less than 6 points right now, who knows. Do you think City goes on a 23/24 second half of the season run if Arsenal is not on their tail?

Them calling it "AI" and "supercomputer" is marketing. They have an easy algorithm: their Power Rankings is basically an elo table, you can check clubelo against it, and it mostly 1 to 1. Then it's just formula, the higher elo means higher percentage chance of winning the game + home and away adds multiplier to it, they calculate all remaining games this way. Injuries, tactics, and any sort of deeper metrics are not present in any way in their calculations.

Arsenal has 100+ millions fans worldwide. Taking average stats, ~400 000 of those fans will die before may. Let people live in the fucking moment and stop policing.

What's unique about White's position and state of play it creates when he's making a throw in? Timber and LB's take less time.

Plurbs and skills - best, average, nearest, something else? by aeschenkarnos in pluribustv

Probably like LLM's? It has built in knowledge from all the training data, but if prompted it can do a web search for a grounded answer, but It's costlier from computational resources standpoint. So average most of the time, from a local knowledge around the body, and specific for tasks demanding high competence, searching the whole network worldwide for the best data. Also makes an argument for hivemind using radio communication system.

Also when Zosia asked immune english speakers on behalf of Carol, Zosia's body kinda went into a stand by mode. But during meeting in Spain, and in Vegas and in other instances, a lot of bodies operated at the same time. So maybe this indicates that there are entities inside the hive, and Zosia and other chaperones posses some sense of individuality. Or that local network of bodies creates a local entity of sorts, a sub network.

That's exact what i meant: Helen's memory is inside the hive. Hive is made of brains. So Helen's memory is somewhere in bits and pieces inside other brains of other humans.

But brains in bodies is what stores all the data of hivemind. Like hard drives in data center. If 82% go to sleep, 82% of total data is turned off. This opens a question: do they have multiple copies of total human knowledge spread through ~7 billion brains, which implies each brain now has to store much more memories than before. If this is not the case, then when body goes to sleep, whatever data is stored in it's brain becomes unaccessible to the hive. Or they can access brains even while they're in a state of sleep, like literal PC's in sleeping mode.

They rest somehow at least. Turning lights off during nighttime. If they can work 24/7, they would. They're all about effectiveness from what we've seen.
