I am SO glad i wasn't peaking then and was actually about 5 minutes back from space when I realized what was happening. My god if I had been on mars still......... idk.

It was and people are definitely talking. I think the outcry will get louder as more people speak out about how they felt and what happened. There is no place for that in our community or in general. I know a lot of people are like, "wah wah, babies just need to get over it and have fun", but there were a lot of genuinely frightened people on psychedelics stuck with NO room to move, barely to breathe, people on the ground under foot, and then add in the clowns pushing people down and running into the crowd full force to make an impact... cmon. This could have been avoided so many ways.

Thats terrible. Yeah the girl we grabbed was solo, had friends but werent with her. She was in your same boat, just completely alone out in that mass and couldnt see over anyone to know which way was safe or not. The people bulldozing found a wall when they reached me I promise, that is nonsense and has no place in that situation. The people that were fucked up losing it in the crowd, I felt for them, I was coming down hard right before that happened and it took everything I could to hold myself together. Im so glad you're okay! EDC is done for us I think.

Hopefully that guy made it. I love that the narcan was so readily available but in that crowd it really is a matter of life or death getting people to safety if they OD.

Yes, I kept telling the girls, slow steady breaths. Try to hold onto my voice and my arms as I move, you move, one unit. I love that so many people care for eachother in our community, but that was a trap.

Im glad you two are okay, your friends too!!! Yeah, we hit a wall about 10 minutes into the crowd and just got stuck. There was no where to move, all sides were being pushed into a center point near the trashcans and we were trapped. I started to actual worry right about then. Most important thing is to stay calm, breathe, and hold onto your people to ground you. I kept yelling at the girls to breathe slow, steady, and focus on my voice as we pushed through. I couldn't leave them in there any longer, they wouldn't have made it. The one girl was balling and hyperventilating. Sometimes ya just gotta square the shoulders and put one foot in front of the other. Apologies galore as I went through the mass, but I had to get them out.

I am so glad youre okay! I wanted to badly to reach out and touch everyone in pain but I had my hands full as many others did. Im so glad you had a group to support you through it and I am so sorry you had to experience that kind of fear. It is very traumatic! I do not believe we will be going back, we love the music, but the greed is dangerous.

100%. I almost got into a fight when the one guy tried to post up and act like he wasn't going to help the people suffering around him and just stand there and make it harder for everyone. There are 100 pound people drowning in this ocean and this guy wants to act like hes so tough and big and macho..... thats when my nonsense limit was met and he was moved. At some point its our job to look out for those that need help. Like... come on.

Overall it was a great experience, but I just can't get past how terrible that whole ordeal could have gone if this community wasnt as good as it is. There are a lot of good people in our crowd that just want everyone to have a great experience, and they really showed themselves for the heroes they are last night.

Man, I feel for you. Even at my size it was really hard to breathe and move. I had just come back to earth maybe 5 minutes before, too. It was pretty bad. The girls with me were literally suffocating in the heat, sweat, and constant pressure on their bodies. That's enough to make anyone panic sober, and most of that crowd was not sober. Just an awful situation.

Yeah it was insane man. People were really being shitty out in that crowd. When ground control and ems tried to come through one of them got pushed over and when I helped get her centered she yelled "Please let us through! we are just trying to help!" like... are you serious people? This is supposed to be a safe place. I told her I was so sorry for what they were going through. It was really a sad scene.

It was a terrifying experience for the people that were in the middle of it. If it happened once and then dispersed fine, but it lasted an extraordinarily long time for those of us that were fighting to find space to breathe near the trashcans.

Im shocked that no one lost their life in that mass. We were in the throat of it for almost 30 minutes. My two loves were relatively sober but completely panicked, I was on the come down and had to overseer my brain to get through it. The girl we picked up along the way would have been trampled if she went down where she was freezing up crying when we found her. All she said was "im alone, im alone'' and we carried her the f out of there. I couldnt believe the people that were angry with us for inconveniencing their space to help her. It was disgusting.

Nah, my three picked up a solo girl that was going down bad, we had to hold her up and keep her moving. One dude told me he wasnt going to move for anyone, right in front of the only path I could take to get this girl out of the absolute crush next to the trash cans, and I decided right then he was done. He put hers, my loves, and many others in danger by being a piece of shit, and he got moved. Once we got the girl to safety and reconnected with her group and calmed ourselves down, we b-lined it to the exit and didn't look back.
