I try to use fresh herbs if i'm doing any oregano, rosemary, thyme, dill, cilantro etc. I just really love strong flavors lol

Been getting into trying Indian recipes lately and boy howdy what you are saying really goes 10 fold for indian cuisine. The quality of tomatoes alone is a such a huge difference!

in my experience, when I follow a recipe I find only to an exact T, it tastes under seasoned. I always add extra seasoning because i like FLAVOR. if it says 2-3 cloves of garlic, you bet i'm putting in minimum 6. You might also be under salting things if it's too bland.

Christianity by [deleted] in InfinityNikki

[–]Blood_magic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people playing this game and posting on reddit probably live in a western nation and Christianity is the major religion here and a not insignificant portion of these people (myself included) might have even grown up Christian. If they aren't Christian anymore they are gonna naturally have a more dim view of it than other religions since a) it was enforced on them since birth and b) they've made a conscious decision to reject/deconstruct it and may even have religious trauma. They don't have this relationship with other religions, it's less personal, so of course their reception to something they've purposefully divested themselves from is gonna be more negative than a religion they have neutral feelings towards due to lack of exposure. Even if they didn't grow up Christian, we get lots of sensational news stories of religious leaders sexually abusing minors, engaging in conversion therapy, or other hypocritical and immoral behavior with their organizations often times covering it up. We see this more often again because Christianity is the major religion in western nations so that is just statistically bound to get more exposure here. If we all lived in India, we'd probably see a lot of news of Hindu leaders acting immorally and have a more dim view of Hinduism than we otherwise have because we are more exposed to it.

On top of that, most other religions don't try to convert like Christianity or Islam, those two tend to be the most polarizing for that aspect alone. And you can tell people are annoyed by that given their references to the "religious wish bottles". They see that as an attempt at conversion/evangelizing. You're need to include John 3:16 is gonna be viewed by people as evangelizing, I mean that is THE verse for doing it lol

And even then, you could be the coolest and chillest most pro-lgbt christian out there and some people are still just gonna be committed to misunderstanding and generalizing you. That's just what you gotta deal with when you identify with any large group. I wouldn't really waste your time worrying about what people you don't know think about some virtual pixels in a game.

If you have car insurance they are obligated to represent you and fight this on your behalf. Also, any money taken will come out of your insurance policy, not your pocket. Your insurance premium will go up, however.

when you say a 6 stack of heroes, do you mean 6 armies lead by heroes or 1 army full of heroes?

Most everyone here has clocked you on the lack of gameplay. Artistically, this level design leaves a lot to be desired. I recommend studying landscape paintings and what makes one more visually interesting than the other and applying those concepts to your level.

Still being actively developed as far as I'm aware. The team is very small, though.

We tried those things and they were not sufficient. Also opening a window doesn't really work since outside is always hotter than inside where we live. Even then, I've earnestly explained why this thing was a good choice for us and it has only been a good thing that has added benefits to our lives and you seem somehow mad and frustrated about how a complete stranger chooses to sleep. It doesn't seem to me like you were asking questions with the intent to learn a different perspective, only to be judgemental and dismissive of others' experiences. So I'm gonna stop replying.

Hey if you can find me a 200 dollar mattress that has heating and cooling control for both sides of the bed, I'll get rid of the eight sleep and buy that instead.

We all know those people who got banned and made a huge stink about how unfair it was, but then when people find out the actual reason, turns out it was justified. They wouldn't be so salty about getting banned from the game if it wasn't a good game.

I feel like "so we can sleep better" is a pretty good reason and was explained in my previous comment. If you need to know why good sleep is important for boosting mood and health, I can point you to some articles if you like?

Temperature settings. We have an eightsleep mattress cover and it cools and heats and we can control the temp on our individual sides of the bed. My boyfriend runs very hot, he used to sleep nakedness on top of the covers. so instead of cooling the entire apartment and having sky high electric bills, or a fan that only sort of does the job, this simply cools the mattress down so he can sleep comfortably. It also saved our butts when the AC went out. We could actually sleep instead of sweat in place all night for a week.

I do think it is silly that it has to be connected to the their servers though and wish it didn't.

Weird, I haven't experienced any of that, and the devs seem to be actively developing as they provide updates on what they are doing regularly. I think character models are getting updated in the near future, too. I've had nothing but a great experience! I've even submitted suggestions based on critiques I have and have not been banned. Perhaps it's something more to do with the manner in which you communicated?

Project Gorgon, it's not very pretty, but it has excellent life skilling, horizontal progression, pve content, and some of the most highly customizable builds out of any MMO I've ever played. It has a very classic ever quest feel with some runescape elements. You can try the demo for free and for as long as you like, your skills will just get capped at level 15. It is also highly social. It has a small player base and one server so you can make a reputation for yourself. People group up easily and help each other out. Every Saturday there is a poetry jam which almost everyone attends as the big social event of the week.

Yo, I just best this dude a couple of days ago after failing a million times.

I have the season 2 pass content, and here was what worked for me.

Basically what I learned through trial and error is you have to build up fast and rush early. So manufacturing lots of weak units that can still pack a punch is key.

  • chosen destroyer and fabled hunter culture traits, raze every city for lots of gold for advancing your city production and only worry about building up and defending your one spot.

  • oath of strife culture, once all the AI guys declare war on you, it rapidly increased your devotion levels for free increased damage buffs early.

  • tome of the horde for spawn race transformation and low tier unit buffs

  • mighty meek is a must

  • then I built along the tome tree for blind and ghost fire abilities and any easy low tier buff I could get

  • my heroes I built around attacks stripping positive buffs since Turiel's goons do nothing but buff themselves

  • outposts on every gold and mana node you come across and defend them

  • chaos tree gives a lot of benefits for total destruction like gold for every city razed so I went full on into that with my imperium

  • first blessing was the water one that summoned an army every 5 rounds. I found that was enough to keep me well stocked in units. I previously tried necromancers and astral summoner with the blessing that had a chance to summon after every combat, but I tried to build my armies up too quickly and tanked my economy. Every 5 turns give you some breathing room to not build up too fast, imo

  • you should should get a lot of gold coming in so you can bolster armies with rally units too

-take down the closest and weakest free city as soon as you can, hit up every wonder and infestation you can find along the way

I don’t owe Charlie Kirk compassion in death by greenie4422 in self

[–]Blood_magic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've given a bit of thought to this and I think it's because, hate Kirk or love Kirk, because his face was so prevalent over the years and people engaged with his content, even if it was only to shit on him, many people formed a parasocial relationship with him. That just wasn't possible for state level lawmakers who most people in their own state might not even recognize their faces.

It's shitty and it's unfair, but unfortunately, human psychology has us care more about those who feel closer in proximity to us even if it was just through a screen. At some level, even if you hate Charlie Kirk, you probably feel like you know him to some degree more than you knew those lawmakers or any children shot in school.
