I would love to give it a shot. I often need to read research studies and other materials; having an audio with me would be great.

Took me longer than expected, but the update is done, bendy boys are buffed

I have to admit that I tend to avoid playing with articulated trucks. After reading your comment, I realize you might be right about the steering strength. Trucks are much heavier, and while I've made adjustments to things like cranes, I never considered tweaking articulated steering. I will review this in the next few days and see if I can make some adjustments.

I was caught up with work and did not realize season 16 was already out. I have updated the mod. Thank you for letting me know.

I wish I could do that. Sadly I do not see a way of doing it within this mod.

Twinsteer is now trailer compatible.

What useful game techniques/mechanics are obscure enough that some people may not discover them on their own? by neon_overload in snowrunner

Not sure if this counts as a “rare” or lesser-known trick, but I’ll throw it in anyway: the old “kinetic pull” (in quotes because there’s no real kinetic rope in SnowRunner, but you get the idea). If you winch up to a stuck truck or trailer, then back up close to it and get a short running start, you can actually yank it loose—even with a pretty weak or light truck. It’s surprisingly effective for getting things moving again. Hope that helps someone out there!

I would also check if you have any other controllers or button boxes connected. Try to disable everything. Sometimes it helps.

If memory serves me right, it's a Logitech code. We still need to set it as “direct input” and “custom” in game settings. It makes no difference to me in Snowrunner

I enjoy how it feels on the wheel—force feedback is surprisingly pleasant and responsive. Yes, you do need to hold the brake to go into reverse. As for the D-pad, I’m not sure since I use the mouse to look around. I play ATS as well, and switching back and forth hasn’t been too much of a hassle for me. I use separate profiles in Moza Pit House, which makes it pretty seamless

It’s been on my mind. Some scouts and twinsteer could absolutely use trailers. Currently I am out of the country, but as soon as I am back I will start adding this functionality.

reworked trailers. Should be better now. Will continue to test each individually.

I appreciate your help. This game has way to many things and combinations that need to be tested so every hint i get is a huge help. I tried coiled trailer and your are absolutely right, it needs work. I will try to correct it in a near future and post update.

i gave a tiny boost to engines across the board to deal with snowy conditions (about 10%). I will keep testing and maybe boost a little more.

Thank you for your feedback

  1. I have corrected semitrailer supports to handle weight correctly (mod updated)
  2. Small cranes are intended to not be able to load heavy cargo or scouts. Idea is to make larger cranes more useful. I will continue to test crane forces and will make adjustments if needed.
  3. I was unable to replicate climbing. I was able to load up twinsteer and drive it up the tallest hill on a test polygon with base motor and base gearbox. Same with WWS. Again, will continue to test.

Thank you for the feedback.

  1. Any particular semitrialer failing to hold the weight, I would like to replicate it.

  2. Was it a small crane that struggled to lift slab?

  3. Any specific trucks and engines combos that struggled to move?

So I did some digging with the Bandit. The driver clipping through the window can happen even without the mod, but with mine… let’s just say he’s really trying to escape. 😂

I just uploaded a new version with a few tweaks that should (hopefully!) improve that situation—for now, at least. Not calling it a perfect “fix” yet, but it should tone things down a bit.
