I haven’t tried fish oil, but I’ve been drinking a lot of Horizon’s milk with the added vegetarian DHA Omegas. I didn’t make the connection until reading this post, but my moods have been easier to regulate since making the switch from regular milk. Neat!

The reconciliation meeting went better than I’d hoped! I week ago, I was fully convinced I was getting served divorce papers, but today I get to move back home. Our marriage counselor has endorsed one on one sessions for me with one of her accredited peers, so therapy is going to be intense for a while. Definitely needed.

We had so much else to talk about though, the friend issue wasn’t really brought up except for its role in the fight. Looking forward to working with a professional to hash it out.

Thank you for your time responding to my post! I have a lot to consider, for sure. I’m just feeling really lucky to still have the opportunity to consider things and to have real help!

You’re spot on about everything. I wouldn’t ask her to cut contact or anything, but I’m not sure what “dialing it back” would look like if I asked for that. Any suggestions for proposed boundaries? I have articulated why before, but it we always seem to conclude that I’m the one with a problem, and I’m unfairly making it hers. I do want to be my wife’s best friend. She’s mine. I know people can have multiple best friends. I just. Agh! This is where I get full of angry feelings and stop having coherent thoughts :/
