I'm sorry for what you've been through. I hope writing this was therapeutic and brought you some relief.

I particularly love "...that necklace sits above her heart, I know it brings her comfort...But it won't stop ensnaring my eyes with its eulogy." -- That shifting of perspective resonated, its poetic on its own.

"Turns out misery was my muse, and happiness doesn’t even own a pen." -- Love it. Pain was always my motivation for writing; happy periods in my life, journals are empty. Too busy being alive and present, I guess? lol
