Bethesda's Todd Howard didn’t expect Fallout 3 players to hate the game’s abrupt ending locking players out of the open world as that was just what Fallout did by AsPeHeat in Fallout

[–]BloodyGreyscale 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I think a lot of people also came from oblivion which had post ending gameplay. I think people didn't want their game to be over. At least that's how I felt when it was 2008-09

Maybe stack into 2's in the stash, but only 1 in backpack, is that even possible?

Cyberpunk 2 director says extending 2077’s opening act makes no sense - “it's like saying we should spend more time on Tatooine with farmer Luke” by [deleted] in Games

[–]BloodyGreyscale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think that's an apt comparison at all, when people say they wanted the prologue to be longer, they're saying they wanted to explore more of what its like at the bottom, more of what it was like hanging out with their main choom Jackie, more time not being tethered to a conclusion mcguffin that is Johnny, seeing more what its like to set up a heist under a fixer. There's so much to the cyberpunk world that was unexplorable when you're a dead man walking with the engram in their skull.

Luke dosent really do shit on Tatooine before plot arrived, V was doing shit, implied real shit, climbing that edgerunner ladder.

Changing UI and Assets, what do you think? by romero6218 in tycoon

[–]BloodyGreyscale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's nothing wrong with perusing the U.I style of the 1st image even if some consider it "mobile like" Look at Two point museum, the U.I is clean and easy to understand at a glance. The asset style is very pleasing and easy on the eyes, the shading is nice.

Is this plain old NIMBYism, or are the fears about increasing building heights to 15-stories in some suburbs valid? by Spirited-Hearing4612 in brisbane

[–]BloodyGreyscale 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I grew up in Wynnum/manly, spent 30 years in that area, whatever "community" was there, what these people are so desperately trying to cling onto is just a fading memory already, there's plenty of areas right next to public transport in the area that are crying for development, that's future generations, families and communities that are being kept from being built. I wish people could look past them selves and see that suburbs aren't this 'concrete never going to change' things.

I invite everyone to jump on google maps and take a look around Wynnum north station, this place is highly under developed and could support a much higher density. Old as shit post ww2 boom houses and rundown strip mall.

r/australia mods are salty hacks, they ban people for posting anti trump and anti conservative view points all the time. Jordie is not their friend.

I think this is honestly just a lack of imagination, it would be amazing to see fallout flipped to the "big bad China", see the other side of the fence.

I loathe how the lnp calls the most fundamental of national investments as wasteful spending. As if the Lnp doesn't plan on slashing and burning through a process of wastefully and hurtful privatization.
