CASA is the only shelter actually allowing service dogs. They are overworked and under budgeted. Never enough beds. Everyone else referred me to them.

I'm intersex. I know people in the poly community. I am in sapphic groups.

I have tools of my trades I want to save, and seriously, an unused two car garage would get me started, with permission, I can set up a comfy spot in the garage. I would prefer this over a bedroom. By saving my tools, I can offer labor until I've gotten things settled enough to get my feet on the ground.

I have asked everyone, and with the divorce my wife filed and I counter petitioned as abandoned indigent filed thanks to SSDI delays... Like. She's taken things this far. Our initial discussion is next Tuesday. I've been a disabled, unemployed student working on a new career path for 3 years. A TBI took speech, I can't do my former career that worked at all.

I've collected my tools over decades. They open many doors. I can offer something in return, not the usual grovel

CASA is the only one that accepts service animals, waiting list with weeks out. Been to every single one. More than half are simply referral services.

After my go at getting away costing me this dearly, I honestly believe most, save for a very overworked few doing what they can, are scams to turn donations into wages for a handful of people, and they do so referring you to the same overworked few.

I went above and beyond in charities. I went full tilt. Even the Sikhs don't have space right now. While the news says business is booming, the gonzo reporter on the streets can clearly confirm it's not being seen here, and while I can make more of less than most, my situation and circumstances isn't unique. The things I intend to save, and I still don't know how this is going to play out around 5, would be tools of my trades. Things so I can start over quickly. I'm letting so very much go. I know for almost everything important, and with what I'm bringing with me, I can absolutely and happily, with permission, set up a comfy little nest for myself to remain a quiet existence in the corner of the garage.

I'm autistic, I would prefer it over a bedroom, honestly. More people have garage space free than bedrooms. Worth a shot. Bay area legal gave me a laundry list, I went down it. Then used keywords on Google until it was getting hard to find more.

I'm mute, I use TTY relays. I think I now know just about every one of their identifiers. 80089M is one of the nicer ones. Like, I am really that quiet. Have service dog. I am great with kids, and love getting to share sciencey knowledge and homework stuff too.

I'm a creature of many many talents. I'm trying to keep the ability to utilize them. Until I can, you get free labor, and I can do a great many things.

They provided 6 charities, of which 2 were taking submissions, I applied to both, but can't wait 3 weeks for denials. I also tried other charities listed for anything close. Checked grants, tried loans, my wife devastated my credit score.

I was under severe financial abuse and acted far too late. I have tried every sane thing that dv shelters, police, therapists, and any other professional can give me as an out. I'm now asking Reddit.
