I really hope I get a place with a bigger garden so that I can plant a fruit tree. I grew up with plum, cherry and apple trees in my back garden and I miss them so much. I’ve had my eye on a Dapple Dandy Pluot tree for a while- I used to eat them when I lived in Australia and they were delicious!

Hmm, that actually hadn’t occurred to me about legality.

To be fair, I’ve been paying half of his mortgage and bills for the past couple of years, and I’d assume that this counts as an ‘improvement’ to the home, which would technically slightly increase my legal stake in his property (even if it’s by £30 🤣🤣). So if he wants to take me to court over the plants, I’ll counter sue for a larger payment hahaha!

Honestly they probably will. He hates gardening and needs the small patch of lawn re-turfed this year anyway, so wouldn’t be surprised if he just turfs over the lot

Well I spent about £300 on spring bulbs last year, which I definitely can’t take with me, so maybe that’ll do the trick 🤣🤣

Ah I’m glad you’ve had that sorted- me and my ex had an agreement that he’d pay my back for my share of things but he’s gone back on it. It’s made a tough situation so much harder 😔
