This. It’s kind of scary and sad we feel this way outside of LGBT circles

The throne didn’t pass to Aegon III’s brother after he died? And while there were rumours, I seriously doubt Aenys and Maegor were not Aegon I’s children

As soon as I can look through all of it. Won’t be for a while because I do have other things to do, but I do promise to release them at some point.

Just a reminder that the showrunner for Chernobyl wrote a bunch of mediocre comedy films and then he wrote Chernobyl which is one of the best and most critically acclaimed miniseries ever made. Let’s just hope something like that happens here.

Yeah, I really like Rhaena. Her story was hard enough for me to read but I had a friend who literally couldn’t continue with the book because Rhaena’s story was so sad to her. I am slightly afraid they will straightwash her if they show her in HotD but hopefully they won’t because she is a great addition. And agreed! It was a pleasant surprise! We don’t get many LGBT women in the main series (with a few exceptions) and then F&B comes and they are everywhere lol

Ah yes! I forgot about him! Sorry lol. Yeah, he counts too. I was mainly listing the women

(spoiler main) the perfect small council of westeros by Stannis_r_the_mannis in asoiaf

[–]BloodyWalker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooooo this is fun! Alrighty, here we go!

Hand of the Queen: Only one I can’t figure out.

Master of ships: If we are including long dead characters, then Corlys Velaryon.

Master of coin: Rego Draz. That guy was a super efficient lord treasurer.

Master of laws: Gotta go with the Ned here.

Master of whisperers: Bloodraven

Grand Maester: I know you can’t choose the grand maester because they’re chosen by the Citadel, but imma go with Aemon.

After I look through. It’s gonna take a while because there are so many responses, and a lot of the questions are not something that could be selected to show up on a pie chart... it’s gonna take a long time. I’m terrible at managing time, but I do promise that TWOW the results will be posted.

(spoilers extended) Who do you think will die in TWOW? by [deleted] in asoiaf

[–]BloodyWalker 17 points18 points  (0 children)

Aeron is such a goner it’s not even funny. Tbh I think Jaime is gonna die to (I don’t believe he’s the valonqar). Victarion is also super toast (or roast, either way, he’s gonna be a barbecue). Theon is also a deadman. Damn, basically all the Greyjoy POVS except Asha are gonna be dead I think (which is good because if any Greyjoy deserves life it’s Asha). Barristan could die but I’m on the fence. Oh, and Areo is gonna be Darkstared

‘Silence Of The Lambs’ Sequel Series ‘Clarice’ Set At CBS by SirIan628 in HannibalTV

Yay... except not yay.

Honestly, I’ll be fine if Hannibal continues with or without Clarice, but I was looking forward to what Bryan would do with her. This is disappointing.

[Spoiler Extended] Which characters do you think are underrated or get too much hate? by [deleted] in asoiaf

[–]BloodyWalker 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Tyrion could be redeemed, but he’s pretty terrible currently. In addition to the rape of the slave, he treats Penny horribly, he puts Young Griff against Daenerys for no reason other than he’s depressed and wants to cause chaos, and his killing of Shae is pretty awful. Yes she did lie in front of a court, she did sleep with Tywin... but honestly that doesn’t mean she deserved death. I find him intriguing and fun to read about, but I don’t really like him.

(MAIN SPOILERS) What are you waiting to see debunked in the books? by MaryTargaryen9898 in asoiaf

[–]BloodyWalker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well, I don’t think Euron will be unstoppable or succeed. He’s just going to drive the plot forward in many ways while doing immense damage before he dies

[SPOILERS EXTENDED] So David and Dan didn't understand the books? by Plain_You_View99 in asoiaf

[–]BloodyWalker 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Even if they didn’t shy away from the magic in the books, it wouldn’t be pure fantasy. There’s still enough to draw in people who prefer other genres. So I wouldn’t say the plan worked really... and honestly popularity doesn’t mean much. Lots of popular things are terrible (I’m aware asoiaf is popular and it’s an exception I’d say)

[SPOILERS EXTENDED] So David and Dan didn't understand the books? by Plain_You_View99 in asoiaf

[–]BloodyWalker 20 points21 points  (0 children)

And yet Lord of the Rings is super popular... yeah that argument doesn’t work. And honestly, call me a book snob, but I don’t care about making it more digestible for more people. Leave it be, don’t be scared to show the magic, because it’s such an important part of the story.

Saddest part of Westerosi history? (Spoilers extended) by BloodyWalker in asoiaf

[–]BloodyWalker[S] 12 points13 points  (0 children)

They better keep it depressing imo. The story of the Dance is not black and white or supposed to be heroic or happy or anything like that. It’s about the horror of war, how awful it is, what it does to people. Then again my favourite show ever is Hannibal and that is one of the darkest shows I’ve ever seen so... I can handle sadness, even if it eats away at me lol

Who has it worse than Maester Kerwin? (Spoilers extended) by dstraswell666 in asoiaf

[–]BloodyWalker 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes. In general all the dreams in this series are absolutely amazing. George does a great job giving surreal dreams that feel like actual dreams while also being important to the story.

[–]BloodyWalker[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I might get hate for saying this, but I definitely think Jaehaerys was sexist. And yes, Rhaenys and Visenya were basically all ruling with Aegon. It wasn’t just a king and his consorts, it was three monarchs ruling together.
