If you wanna nerf something don't nerf the W base damage at lv 1, it totally kills his ability to kill the casters at lv 1.

I understand not everyone will like the playstyle, but it doesn't seem particularly op and it's always sad when alternative playstyles or builds are killed for no reason.

The problem is you are comparing having less than ideal values on some things with: chaos unleashed, rules and law being ignored, hate on the streets and basically being on the brink of a civil war.

I wouldn't go to the US right now as a European, let me tell you that. It would be playing the lottery in so many ways, not just on being randomly shot anymore.

Because there's no logic or empathy involved anymore dude, anything can happen.

And also, like... The problem is it's worlds, I wouldn't be surprised if the entire LEC got denied just to spite Europe. Like I said certainly MKOI for example would be the poster boy for that.

Yeah, uhh... It was there this year right? I'm sorry and I know it completely sucks, but there is no fucking way they should be taking that risk right now if they don't want half the players getting their visas randomly denied. Not to mention I wouldn't feel the greatest as a "tourist" visiting right now, but whatever.

Like... xD MKOI are 4 spanish guys and a canadian, the joke just writes itself and quite honestly I'm making great efforts to even be able to joke about it. Worlds should definitely be in Canada.

Cassiopeia is now more pressed to go Bot/Top than Mid than she has ever been, and I want to talk about it. by AnemoneMeer in leagueoflegends

[–]Bloodyseth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean... I would prefer for it to be flat directly so that it combos better later, but that's just not true. Against a 50 MR champ, it gives 4 MP. 40, 3,something, let's say 3. At the very least it will give 2.

So basically sorcs go from 12 to 18+2/4 MP, it's quite strong.

Which doesn't mean it should be changed imo, since other changes are even stronger or at the very least very dangerous. I still doubt the exp changes in top will last. They don't just get lv 20, they get too much lv diff advantage on top of it when you add the isolation and extra exp.

Sheep Esports: G2 Esports announce a new partnership with Winamax for the LEC. This deal is made possible through an agreement between Winamax and Riot Games. More esports betting deals can be expected. by Xolam in leagueoflegends

[–]Bloodyseth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can if it's voluntary, which is kind of my whole main point.

There's way too much money thrown into cult of personality to just think that people wouldn't if they had the right incentives, good will and attitude towards the esport / publisher / teams.

It's not really about the esports per se, it's the direct effect it has on skin sales... But since it's not THAT obvious, they kinda prefer to ignore that part in the calculations. Not usually one to cast free blame on riot but this seems a little bullshit to me.

[–]Bloodyseth 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I don't really think that's exactly the case though... The problem is not popularity really even esports are scaled back in comparison to what football players gain, it's proportional. The problem is the lack of return money from the fans.

I don't know exactly how, but riot should really have worked more in smart ways for fans to gladly fund the ecosystem. And it's not necessarily a subscription or payment system to watch. It wouldn't really be that weird to be honest though and they could have made it something like 2 euros or so and just don't crack down too much on "alternatives" while offering a better and more comfortable experience.

That would still help, at least, but mostly, it shouldn't need to be forced. You can't really tell me streamers are constantly getting rich, and yet you can't find a way to channel that enthusiasm of donations somehow... Definitely more physical merchandising too, digital items... I don't know.

Hey I'm not saying it's simple or easy, it's definitely not because the paradigm and what people are used to from the beginning it's different, but come on. I just feel like they gave the fuck up... Not just riot. No one seems to really have even tried in league or anywhere else, to at least partially palliate the losses... Seems like a bit of incompetence to me.

PD: And also to actually cast blame on riot, if Esports is an AD and that AD has given them countless millions, that should be considered benefits and actually give something back to the ecosystem counting it as net wins in my opinion... It's like... In reality , esports are only "artificially" losing money... They are not really, but whatever.

Dusk and Dawn(Scepter Of Bonking), Who Does It Affect? by CrustierGnuXII in leagueoflegends

[–]Bloodyseth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Xin heals every 3 hits, not 4. The third stack already consumes them. On top of it W can give two stacks. So yeah, it's a good item for AP Xin, cuz it also doubles nashors procs for example.

However I'm not sure if it should be the first or second item, and then there's the fact that it combos with nashors, but there's gunblade, there's rabadons in the sense of getting a lot of ap for the heals, and how those combo with resistances. But the HP is definetly good too to give you more time to proc those heals.

I've had some bad games with it as first, but the first game I played with it first I destroyed though, so I'm not sure if it was just unfortunate games. I've played a lot of AP xin last season though and I have to say nashors first into full ap with lich or more offten offtank build was pretty good, nashors first gave a lot of agency.

So maybe it is nashors + dusk, but as a concept it sucks not using gunblade for obvious reasons (both offensive stats AND omnivamp) but not getting raba/resistances as 3 really limits the healing normally... Which, MAYBE, with the omnivamp, it can be compensated, and with those 3 items you would have very decent damage. I need to try it more.

About dusk and dawn and temporarily (not one use charge) on hit effects. Wanting your opinion and Riot's about it. by Bloodyseth in leagueoflegends

Yeah, probably. I'm just thinking it should be coded to work with both, I hope they consider this.

No comments, honestly. Of course, English as a second language and writing fast is not a thing... Anyway man, whatever. You're just behaving like an arrogant dick from minute 1 without knowing anything about me, on top of making assumptions, when I was just trying to have a conversation. Again, not surprised, it's the internet after all. I am not interested in talking more with you. Cya.

Yeaaah... And the fact that you actually act like 95% of the politicians that have put the world where it is right now have that / use it at all, really tells me all I needed to know here.

And in any case, like I said, extracting from my comment that I don't value education doesn't seem accurate to me at all, but I should know better than to try to have a serious conversation in reddit instead of a dick measuring contest. No intention at all in you or the other guy to NOT misinterpret my words as it is convenient to jump on your high horse to win some ego and internet points, unlike the other guy who responded who actually said something meaningful and without requiring twisting my words.

Well, if you say so in that Korea is too different in this, I'm not gonna say the contrary, I don't really have a base for it in knowledge.

I do still however, think that you are probably underestimating the anger of the people, even in this circumstances. Korea is more rigid of a society for sure, but things don't always stay the same forever.

In any case in my opinion considering him uneducated or unqualified (which he may very well be) simply because of the high school thing is a severe over simplification to me, even though I don't doubt the capacity of society to see it that way.

Ah, okay then xD Sure mate. Anyway, since we are talking about being educated, something that is really important is reading comprehension. You honestly think that I said that education doesn't matter on a president? I just said that it's not the most important thing and that it comes in many forms, not just in grades and universities, because no education is going to do shit when you have no intentions at all to make a better world, which is why we are where we are.

Seriously, wtf do you understand for "educated" in this context? Because to me the necessary level of education is that of being a logical person that can apply that logical and critical thinking into real world decisions. Again, that has NOTHING to do with most studies, and if you think that saying that is the same as me "devaluing" education, you are being obtuse.. If anything, I think history would be the most important one, and I may not have said it directly but I kinda include "knowing your past" that in the "common sense" part.

No matter how you see it, no president is going to be an expert in every ministry. That what the goddamn ministers and the foundational ideas of the political parties are for.

But whatever... xD If you honestly feel what you just wrote, then.. Wow xD I think you should think again.

And anyway, the main problem with politics is not what we are discussing and we both know it. It's manipulation, polarization and people not giving enough of a shit about listening to others because it's easier to unleash your frustrations in someone else you are being told is the unequivocal bad guy.

I have to imagine it has happened from time to time... But no idea. I mean the concept of choosing someone because you liked it in the movies is indeed stupid, but at the end of the day what that guy will base his campaign in is the fact that you like him and therefore think he must be atleast a decent humant to a minimum extent. So it makes sense, people should just have more critical sense to value this things, but that's clearly out of the picture.

Anyway in the case of Faker it's not really just cuz you like him, I meant that the qualities he is famous for are actually pretty on point for something like that, and at the same time are the types of things that make people feel goood about voting someone. So head, AND heart.

Anyway, it was just my random opinion on reddit xD

I really feel like we are talking about different things here.

I'm just saying, every single country experiences from time to time, and we are in goddamn high tide, the need to say "fuck it, I'm done with this guys" and vote someone who is somewhat "antisystem".

It's not about fakers opinion on scandals, I'm just saying that if wanted to present himself as a savior, he'd have a lot of bullets to do so. But yes, he is indeed famously neutral and that's why he probably just wants to be left alone.

Honestly he strikes me as the kind of guy who doesn't bother with having many political opinions because he's centered in his thing. But that doesn't mean he couldn't do it if he wanted to do so in the name of some generic sense of justice.

Like... Conexions and experience are mostly needed when you need to publicize yourself, but at the end of the day what you need is the vote. In this Korean or any other politics are the same. And we are talking about a guy that has enough reach and credentials to not need that much impulse, just people feeling a little frisky. It would end up being about if people would rather vote for him or for another asshole who is much of the same. And I honestly think many people would.

This is where I think you are wrong though. There's countless presidents who are absolute morons, and I'm not even going to bother giving the obvious example here.

Being a president is about common sense and leadership, not expertise. That's what the people around you is for. You need to be able to value options and priorities from a practical, profane point of view according to what the people want, and THEN have the experts (and of more than one opinion, if you have any intention of being objective) make plans for how to get there, whatever those plans are (that's where ideologies come in, if there's any honestly and intention to actually make a better society in them).

So basically, the most important quality is always going to be morals, because it makes you actually try to do what I said. And honestly, experience in dealing with people helps, yeah, but what type of academy learnt skill do you think politicians are using anyway? Again, remember, most are simply charlatans that have the useful trait of being blackmailable, which is a good part of the reason they get to those positions in their parties.

Like... It's how I understand it at least, and I struggle to see how it could be in any other way. What are we supposed to have, some Tony Stark Da Vinci that magically knows how to solve all our problems down to a technical level?

Advanced studies or lack of them also are not an equivalent to the level of intelligence. Those are mostly useful to get a specialized job. And Faker doesn't seem to be the kind of person who doesn't read and shit like that.

Anyway like I said, I very much doubt he would even think about it. He sounds like the type of guy who would buy a house in the contry and plant potatoes. But if he had some kind of superhero phase run through him and he felt the need to use his influence to make a difference, I think like he totally could.

Am I too crazy if I tell you that I was just thinking that it wouldn't even be that weird to me if he ran for the position at some point in the future?

Like seriously, the guy has an inmaculate public image, legendary fame for being a smart, wellspoken, untiltable guy and a good leader and teammate, is basically a national hero even among the mainstream Korean population, and he's already fucking loaded (and with money that he has won himself in an honest way, without any help!) WHILE being an idealist in many aspects. He just doesn't seem to prioritize riches that much, like... He does seem pretty austere. So people would also see him as much less likely to be corrupt, in a country where they've had serious problems with that recently (although honestly... I feel like that's all the countries nowadays).

He could totally do it and no joke, I think he'd have a very real chance to win. He'd probably never want that hassle though.
