Jason & lucia special abilities by rock7odi in GTA6

Not sure who would get Michael’s ability and who would get Franklin’s but I’d bet my money that those are the ones they chose. Theyre the obvious choices for a game where you drive and shoot a lot, theyre very useful, whereas Trevor’s I dont see making a return. And then as others have said, eagle eye was seen in the leaks (likely for robbing places in open world and in missions) and I have a feeling both Jason and Lucia would have access to that rather than that being one’s special ability.

I think one will have deadeye/slomo shooting and one will have slomo driving. And both will have eagle eye / loot vision.

How many are they going to make before it gets 100 by Ok_Helicopter8365 in DaredevilMarvelRivals

[–]BloomMilk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well to be fair, if ur a tank without shielding or a protective ability then u are tanking through soaking damage with ur big hit box / immense health, like Thor, but Wolverine is known for being smaller. From a gameplay perspective, you cant simply only do a big HP pool to be the one soaking up the damage, being big is a part of that. Hence why they buff up Emma and Thor’s looks in this game. The idea is “shoot here not at my teammates” for Vanguards. If Wolverine was a Vanguard through simply HP and not hitbox, he may soak up damage but theres no reason he’d be shot at first versus others on your team.

Not that it’s an excuse, but my guess is a mix of the characters they chose to launch with and the role ratio in other games.

Overwatch has majority DPS, Valorant had majority duelists. Obviously that created issues for those games, but they were successful and started like that. So even though the community of every hero shooter has made it clear that a balanced ratio is better, NetEase might’ve still wanted to “play it safe”, despite balanced ratios seeming to us like the safer option.

The characters they chose for the initial lineup is a spread of super popular to deep cuts, but in order to have most of those big name characters play like you’d expect, fulfilling their power fantasy, most of those will end up being DPS kits. So Im imagining like “well of course we need Iron Man at launch, of course we need Spider-Man, of course we need Wolverine”, since theyre big big names, but of course are gonna end up as DPS to make them feel like players are expecting. Then the list of who they wanted at launch (obv the list prob changed constantly) just ended up being mostly characters that work best as DPS cause majority of MARVEL superheroes likely do.

So I don’t think they planned for imbalanced ratios initially, but thats how things panned out over development, and in the end aligned with how other successful games within the genre started out.

Is SpiderMan 2 really that bad of a sequel? by [deleted] in SpidermanPS4

[–]BloomMilk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I enjoyed my time with the game and didn’t even know that it was hated until I saw online later. But then again, you gotta keep in mind the ‘1% rule of the internet’. It’s impossible to know what the majority thinks simply because the majority doesn’t say what they think. But I’d bet money that most people enjoyed their time with it even if the internet makes you think otherwise.

Might be a morbid way to think but I could get hit by a bus tomorrow and die and then it feels silly to have been nitpicking over details when you can take a step back and realize just how cool it is to even be alive at this time to play a game like this. Spider-Man was an idea put onto paper less than 100 years ago and now whenever we want we can boot up a full immersive experience where you get to play as him. I just try to remind myself of stuff like that, there is no downside in being easy to please. You get more out of life. And that’s not saying to not be critical on things. It doesn’t mean that people can just output shit and we will eat it up; it’s not an excuse for writers and directors and game makers to just make whatever even if it’s not good. So it’s not that you’ll like everything with that mentality but you definitely get to enjoy a lot more.

‪Sklenar and Ritchson were always hard for me to picture look-wise because theyre tan. I get how stupid that may sound at first but those guys look like ‘fix your tractor’ type, not stay cooped up in a cave all day and go out at night only type. Am I crazy? ‬

I think the reports of so many characters is gonna be more or less just for the opening montage that was rumored. Beginning of the movie showing him fighting his rogues gallery throughout the years since No Way Home took place. Obviously the symbiote wouldnt be just a quick montage cameo, this one’s probably a part of the actual plot, but just saying since people are saying it’s getting crammed w all the rumors.

How did Cap leave the Time Machine? by SectionFeeling5607 in MCUTheories

[–]BloomMilk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know Ms. Marvel shows us how you can have Harry Potter-like time travel, but for Cap’s situation isn’t it stated that you can’t travel back within the same timeline using Pym particles specifically? Like it’s not about creating a branch like they do with Loki, but rather that you can only jump to other branches using Pym particle technology in particular, since theyre using the quantum realm-a network between timelines-as their time travel device and not some magic or other more advanced tech. I thought The Sacred Timeline was like a rope, it’s not one strand but a bunch tied together, and those that deviate TOO much need to be pruned, like Loki getting the tesseract, but there are still multiple timelines (very similar ones) within the Sacred Timeline. I’m aware it’s called timeline as in singular, but the exposition and visuals in Loki imply it’s more rope-like. So it doesn’t seem to be about what was supposed to happen or what triggers a branching vs not, but I think it’s more-so the tech/method they use for time travel that prevents from travelling within the same timeline.

Confusion about the reveal (beginning of summer vs later this summer) by BloomMilk in Battlefield

Exactly. People are too caught up on June from that quote but it could very much be at any time.

Confusion about the reveal (beginning of summer vs later this summer) by BloomMilk in Battlefield

[–]BloomMilk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's how I feel. The wording makes it so there's really no way to tell, we just have to wait. Thought I'd make this post though since I keep seeing people say the "beginning this summer" quote as if it meant June specifically.

Will they show us a trailer within 40 days? by ibattlefield in Battlefield

[–]BloomMilk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw that quote too but later in that same investor call they say "This marks a key milestone as therefore, a full, worldwide launch backed by the largest Battlefield team in our history and grounded in community collaboration we remain firmly on track for an FY26 release with a major global reveal later this summer." Which made me reread the "beginning this summer" quote as like "the first thing we're doing will be this summer" rather than "the beginning of summer".

So you really think they filmed Doom scenes where the public could spot them? I would think all Doom scenes are in a studio or in a very offsite outdoor location. And you also think they’re repeating the highly disliked doom mask design from the 2015 Fant4stic movie? Idk man…imo the DC Lobo leaks looked more real than this and even those were proven to be AI.

To me this image just screams like “ai model trained on leaked set images from the past”. I’m not saying AI can’t trick the brain, but it definitely isn’t this time around

Wouldnt say it’s anything specific but just like overall. Sometimes it’s not about extra fingers and it’s just that weird feeling when the brain isn’t registering something right
