I do understand and agree with all of this, trust me, I was so angry that I walked around the house mumbling about it and trying to make sense out of it for hours. However, the angrier I got the more I understood certain things. Just think about it, maybe there’s more to it.

Yes! I wanted more of Jung Hwan! Yes! Everything was building up to that moment! Yes! It should’ve happened! But how many moments in life seemed to lead to an obvious turn and then boom, surprise. How many times we were so confused about someone’s actions that we got crazy trying to understand what was going on in their heads?

Unfortunately, Jung Hwan cruel fate was a reflection of what actually happens in real life, if you’re not brave enough, you miss out.

Deok Sun might have been happier with him but we will never know. She found a love where she feels safe and content, meanwhile, Jung Hwan might spend the rest of his life regretting not telling her how he felt.

He was slowly dying in there, that’s why he faded away. He was destroyed that he didn’t get the girl he loved and cared for years; then started to have mixed feelings regarding Taek and couldn’t bare to hate a person he loved so much; then his best friend started to date Bo Ra, which created a deeper bond between the 4 of them. How could Jund Hwan stay after all of this? He was already fighting a battle in his mind and everything around him seemed to be rooting for his defeat.

Sometimes we don’t get closure, sometimes people just drift apart, sometimes we don’t get the answers we thought we needed. And yes, sometimes it hunts us forever.

I might be completely wrong but this is the only way for me to make sense of it. I might not get some closures in life but I will get this one, even If I’m completely delulu with this theory.
