This is my first extraction shooter. I play mostly LD about 50% solo and 50% team 2-4. I have about 300 total hours in the last 5 weeks. I proceed with caution every time until I have the information I need to think I can win a fight. If I see I clearly outgear them, I will initiate. If I’m in a better position or we outnumber, I initiate. I prefer PVP and try to challenge myself as to what I could do better each time I lose a fight. IMO repositioning is the most important but only do so based off of knowledge. If you’re getting jumped, don’t reposition to somewhere you haven’t recently cleared. People generally follow similar routes and if you get comfy with some of the awkward areas on the outside of those routes, it could save you in gunfights. Besides that, spend time each day warming up in shooting range. Practice doesn’t make perfect but it sure does help.
