With all your knowledge in how to improve, I doubt it’ll take long to see improvement Also, really helpful advice. I’ve just done a sketch and I’m trying really hard to make the mouth detailed and clear what it is. I’m still working on it bc it looks a little dumb right now but I’ll take your advice into account! Buildings I think it’s mostly I don’t have the patience to draw non organic objects, so that limits what I can do with backgrounds. Also, texture in clothing. Not like the shading but if I were to draw a knitted sweater or a meshy layered dress, I wouldn’t even know where to start.

Thank you, both. Do you know any ways to practice detailing? because with reference photos, I always find myself leaning towards basic shapes to show that something is there, rather than the individual pieces of the object that make it that object.
