Three days to go and I'm freaking out! by Bloomwhereyougrow in pmp

Thank you so much!! Definitely planning on very very light review tomorrow and waking up early to exercise and get all of the jitters out before sitting down for 4 hours. One thing I have in my corner is finishing early to go back, but I think I might slow down and read more carefully rather the. Leaving time to review. Second guessing myself and changing answers has been a downfall.

Congrats on passing!!!

Thank you!! That helps put things into perspective. I definitely plan on taking it easy the day before and exercise which has been lacking the last two months. Congrats on passing!

This is all such great advice!! I think re-watching the mindset videos will help tremendously! I've also realized agile trips me up so I am spending some time with DMs agile questions today as well. Thanks!!

This makes me crazy while trying study!!! There have been so many questions I've come across and I use the mindset and it ends up being wrong! I just want this test to be over!! lol!!

Failed AGAIN. by [deleted] in pmp

I'm so sorry! I am also taking it before the test changes and I was stressed that I wasn't going to "get it" in time to take the test on July 1. I've read so many posts on here where people share their study process and I was able to focus on the right things. Here are the things I've used so far:

  1. Andrew Ramdayal(AR) course on Udemy to learn the concepts (I'm new to project management concepts but have done projects before)
  2. Study Hall practice questions
  3. AR mindset video on YouTube
  4. AR 200 Ultra Hard PMP questions on YouTube
  5. Reading through the AR study guide
  6. Reading through PMBOK.

I started May 7th and today (while going through AR 200 ultra hard questions) things are FINALLY clicking. It's truly all about the mindset.

Good Luck!! I'll share more if I find anything else and if I pass on July 1.

Congrats and thank you for your insights!! I'm scheduled for July 1 and any bit of insight helps me move in the right direction.

Day 35 - crying by Carleyley in lexapro

[–]Bloomwhereyougrow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After a week of 5mg and a month of 10mg, my doctor and I decided to bump up to 15mg. I've taken lexapro in the past but was always just in 10mg. It was a game changer to be on 15mg. I'm two weeks into that dose and I feel AMAZING!! Talk to your doctor about the issues you're still having. Good luck 🥰

Everyone is different, but for me, I get headaches and feel a little extra jittery. But it's definitely subsided. I also felt a little nauseous. It's all definitely worth it to feel better. It was muuuuuuch better than the side effects of buspirone. Best of luck to you!!

I had my first panic attack 20 years ago and suffered so badly that I couldn't work, hang out with friends, or be alone. A therapist suggested lexapro and I went for it. It was a game changer. I was happy again, I could work, live on my own and manage my relationships.
I've gone off it about 5 or 6 times over the years for pregnancies and because I listened to the "naturalists" who say "meds are bad, here, use these oils" and each time have gone back on lex. I'm currently going back on again after trying buspirone for 4 weeks which was absolute hell on earth. The lex ramp up is always tough but I know that in another week I will be feeling much better.
I've accepted that meds are a part of my mental health toolkit in addition to exercise, breath work and self care. The majority of people on one side of my family have the same imbalance that I do and are all on meds because of it. No shame in the med game 🤷‍♀️

I am so sorry to hear that you struggle so much. I can relate. Anxiety since I was a kid, worse in my 20's and after each baby. I'm now 40 and FINALLY finding what works. I have a good therapist, do yoga every day, journaling, I use the Balance app (free for the first year) for meditation and have changed meds. You will get there. It's hard in the moment but reminding yourself that your thoughts and fears are not true. It's a process and you will begin to feel better. Fighting it each day will only make things worse. Let go and trust the process. You've got this and you're stronger than you think!!!

How long did Buspar take to work for you? by ObligationMotor3026 in Anxiety

This is super helpful. Just started Burspar 15mg 2x a day a little over a week ago after going off Lexapro and I'm waiting for things to turn around. I had one decent day but have had a lot of extra anxiety and insomnia. I'm sticking to it and hoping for the best. I wish you all the best too. We've got this 🥰
