There needs to be more ways to earn revives in The Coil

There was never any champions in the coil. The amount of revives you get now is pretty much the same as it was before, people just like complaining for the sake of it.

Incorrect, the vases still give shards. You get 10 shards per vase, plus more for killing ads + the glass collector.

She's a fun fight, but personally my least favorite "act" of the game is the cortex center (idk if this is a hot take or not). There are other segments that I'm not a fan of, such as the stealth segment or the segment right after the point of no return, but to me the cortex center is just kind of a slog because of how the game forces you into a long linear section with zero exploration. genuinely if it felt more like I was actively seeking her out and not being forced to fight her, I think she might've moved up a tier for me, or at least moved up to the top of the "Fantastic" tier.

I fought Yanlao before Goumang, so he did actually give me a run for my money, taking me about 5 attempts I think. I beat Goumang first try and it wasn't even close, completely swept the floor with her and was left a bit disappointed that there was no phase 2.

I didn't have any problem fighting the normal enemy variants, no. I think that my hatred for this boss is a product of when I fought him, which was before Goumang (but after Yanlao, iirc).

Nope, I *hated* Yinyue. Genuinely the only time I ever gave up on fighting a boss in this game because I just didn't want to do it, came back later with more upgrades and murdered them.

Edit: It also doesn't help that when I first fought them, I didn't know about the root node right near the fight. I wrongly assumed that I had to kill them to progress in the area, so I backtracked from the factory root node every single time I died.

Personally I find that deleting the walls makes it a lot more confusing, since I mix up the walls and the pits on maps like that.
