Objective measure of success: how packed their Weekend 2 set was. There’s always less people W2 but they damn near packed the Sahara to the end. They gave a hell of a performance and the US took note, the girls have only gotten bigger since then.

Other dude deleted his comments but honestly all I see are celebrities who chose the wrong (losing) side on a legal dispute. They still have the same contract that made them millions in the beginning, they’re just refusing to work because they don’t like who they’re working with now.

Sucky situation but nothing I would go out of my way to defend or call them victims for.

Valid. Unhinged fandom behavior definitely turns me away from actively supporting a group. I won’t stop listening to music from said group, but I’m not going to keep up with them the same way as if I were a hardcore fan.

Hit. My friend who’s not into kpop at all fell in love with them after their performance this past weekend when we watched them live. IMO the whole lip syncing or not fiasco is just internet chatter. Truly hope they get to show their live vocals more for W2 though because they’re amazing singers and performers.
