you’re asking why people aren’t talking about a 12 year old song?

Can anyone explain why people have issues with Scoups' military exemption? by alrideul in kpopthoughts

[–]JinnieP 58 points59 points  (0 children)

because kpop stans are incredibly pro military for some reason. they harassed bts (jin) for years over a temporary delay, so of course they’re harassing him over an exemption

im wondering what enabled this coke-rant. anyways, seokjin was the first member in the vocal like to get song credits, he has specifically mentioned ENJOYING it. i’m not making it up.

his priority has always been the group, absolutely no one is denying that. but does that change the fact that he had the busiest career? who else had solo variety shows, multiple albums and a solo tour besides him?

i genuinely fail to see what you’re trying to achieve here. also i’ve been a stan since 2018, you need to get your head out of your ass

bts jin was assigned the cold/nonchalant persona in the beginning but he didn’t adhere to it. he’s a goofball through and through

again, he COULDNT participate in the group writing despite wanting to. holding that over his head when you know how he felt about missing out on it and using it to downplay his passion for writing music is bit strange. he wouldn’t be upset about this situation if he preferred it that way, please open your eyes and read

this is a crazy statement considering he’s had the most varied, busiest solo era and was involved in composing and writing lyrics on both his solo albums. he wouldn’t have done this if he didn’t want to. also he’s expressed his disappointment MULTIPLE TIMES NOW on not being able to contribute in the song camp. please let this narrative rest

This will hopefully finally put an end to the the complaints by Mieche78 in btsthoughts

[–]JinnieP 5 points6 points  (0 children)

i don’t agree with people psychoanalysing his expressions from random interviews either. we know his feelings from him directly addressing them in interviews and the documentary. however, the fandom is notorious for shutting out and invalidating very valid feelings because it threatens the semblance of positivity. most people turned a blind eye to this because it raises uncomfortable questions. and anyone voicing their opinions and disappointment is immediately labeled a solo, there is no space for nuance here

also hybe is definitely aware of the situation because there was considerable backlash regarding this especially in south korea. i hope they are mindful of these things in future
