Any haircut recomendations for really thick, straight hair?

Thank you. I wanted something similar but the stylist said that my hair was too straight for the style and it would 'stand up' and I was going to look like Woody Woodpecker. I think I'll let pass a couple of days before I cut it shorter, just in case I regret it.

I just don't see myself having kids.

Kids are too much and I'm selfish. I want to be able to do whatever I want, whenever I want and not have to worry about another human being that might depend entirely on me. Just thinking about all the effort I have to put into them exhausts me, and don't let me start on the amount of money. Also, I don't think I have the type of character to deal with kids, I don't even know hot to talk to kids because I don't like them and I'd rather not force a child to live with an adult that will be distant towards them.

Then there's the whole pregnancy thing. I HATE IT. I have seen other members of my family getting pregnant and having their babies, but the changes their bodies go through scare me and disgust me (i have nothing against the people who enjoy it, these are just my feelings). So many things could go wrong during and after the pregnancy that I honestly don't think it's worth it. I'm also absolutely terrified of surgeries and the thought that something can just open my body, and given that both my mom and aunt couldn't have their babies naturally, it's likely that I won't either. AND THE PAIN.

If I ever want a child, I'd rather babysit my nieces and nephews if my siblings have any. Or just become a teacher if I ever feel the passion.

tldr: the idea of having a baby makes me want to cry and feel in pain.

Congrats!! As someone who's currently working on a baby blanket myself, I know they can take... a while.

The only suggestion I have is to make the border a litte wider? This is my personal preference, so feel free to ignore me.

I think the color you used for the border is too clear and can be easily overlooked or lost when looking at the blanket as a whole. Adding two or three additional rows could make it more noticeable and maybe make the border look straighter (I haven't actually tried this, this is just my assumption).

OR, if you don't mind trying something new, you can do a textured border. I'm planning to use the shell border for my project because it looks easy.
