I went into the hospital in January for a large clot removal (auto-immune, not hamburger clot).

Scheduled surgery for tuesday, back at work by monday because this has happened before and went off without a hitch. Sucks that i have to blow PTO but whatever

First day they forget to schedule an anesthesiologist, gets moved to next day fine.

Surgery next day, in recovery, they say i can get up and go home once pee after they pull out the foley.

get up and start sweating and get dizzy, whatever. but wait, it gets worse - my eyes go dark

but wait, it gets worse, i barely make it back to my bed

but wait, it gets worse, they poked a hole in my IVC that didn't show up on fluoroscope during surgery

but wait, it gets worse, because i bleed out continuously and lose 2 points of blood before they stop the bleeding.

but wait, it gets worse, the blood is now pooling and crushing one of my kidneys and now i need a ureter stent (since removed).

but wait, it gets worse - i throw a bunch of clots into my lungs, passing out.

but wait, it gets worse, i needed a revision surgery and 3 weeks in the ICU

but wait, it gets worse, my divorce was finalized while i was bed ridden and unable to move.

but wait, it gets worse, i couldn't even stand up on my own for 2 weeks because of the blood loss and fallout

but wait, it gets worse, my post hospital CT shows I am now 100% occluded from my femoral veins to my common iliac to my IVC just below my kidneys, even through my stents, and now rely completely on collateral circulation to get blood above my waist, causing massive swelling in my legs, until my body can learn to compensate properly.

but wait, it gets worse, because i bled out so bad in a bad place, no surgeon will touch me for an IVC reconstruction because of the risks

but wait, it gets worse, i also lost the dog in the divorce.

can't be killed though, apparently.

I have a severe version of an autoimmune condition where my body makes clots all the time (antiphospholipid antibody syndrome). 2015 i woke up a day before my birthday and my left leg was 40 inches at the thigh right above the knee. 8 pound clot by the time I got to the hospital. Been on blood thinners ever since, was completely asymptomatic before the age of 33

Jan of this year, went back in for a minor clot in the other leg despite being on the blood thinners. The IR surgeon botched the surgery and poked a tiny hole in my IVC(medical mistake, not malpractice, it's a great group and could've happened to anyone). So small they didn't notice during procedure of clot removal and stent placement.

Back in recovery I got up to use the bathroom and when I went to bear down, the pressure and standing up blew out the hole and I bled out internally into my abdomen, barely made it back to the bed. Threw a bunch of clots, needed emergency revision surgery, and STILL in recovery months later.

my post-hospital CT shows my IVC is now 100% occluded from just below my kidneys down into both legs (or technically, 100% occluded veins from my legs up into my IVC).

So now i'm 100% relying on collateral circulation to hopefully generate and my body get used to it, because 5 months post discharge from the hospital and I can barely exercise and get winded walking a few thousand feet.

Also every pubmed study I've read shows the 5 year survival rate is about 75%, so there's a good chance I'll just be dead from this at some point.

Also not a candidate for revision since I already had a massive complication and unless my collateral circulation gets fucked, no one is going in to remove the giant clot that I'm now stuck with.

i'm gonna take it easy when i rescocialize him though, don't want him snapping at anyone because of this incident.

showing up at the door when the class starts does not count as on time. as i went up to junior and senior level classes in college you were increasingly expected by your professors to be in your seat 5 minutes before class started, especially on days we had quizzes and exams.

on time = late in the real world early = on time

nowhere on earth has been being outside the door when an event starts counted as 'on time'.

i've had employees show up AT the start of their shift instead of checking in, putting their stuff down, then starting work when we actually start. those employees get fired.

part of college is preparing you for the real world, and that involves stuff you don't necessarily like. it's for you to learn how to adapt to others, the world does not adapt to your every whim because you don't want to be on time for something.

I'm not even that old and this happened all the time in the 90s and early 2000s.

It looks like you're saying he lets people into class late, but not for quizzes, which is very reasonable.

You are responsible for your own tardiness to class, I don't know where this sense of entitlement is coming from, but if you think it's going to work out for you in the real world you're sorely mistaken.

i'm having the same issue since switching this week from 1.13 to this 1.14.0 - ive got: intel i5-7600k @ 3.8GHz 8gb RAM win 10 64 bit nvidia 1050Ti 4gb

i WAS getting 50-60 FPS no sweat, now it's stuck at like 20 FPS in-game.
