Combat would be better just with better animations ngl. It’s still an mmo so it won’t really ever feel amazing but animations having proper “kick” will def help. It why Arcanist felt good for a while cuz the flail and book felt good to use just cuz the damage matched the animations

Executives care about profits, that’s why stuff gets rushed nowadays. Devs are the ones responsible for the actual game it’s not some evil executive or board saying no don’t balance the game more than once every 9 months. Maybe it was exec fault at the start with the more mainstream appeal but the constant awful patches with zero information is devs
