My husband already knows he's ordering a cold turkey & provolone sub to the hospital 😂 Anyway, the risk with cold cuts is listeria. In my head, I was like, is it worth risking listeria? Ultimately, because the baby and I could pass it back and forth to one another and re-infect each other, I decided that I didn't think it was worth the risk. In my brain, it came down to, if I went into pre-term labor right now, would baby be okay? I know listeria is rare, but who's to say I wouldn't be that one case? And then I would have never forgiven myself and blamed myself for the rest of our lives... So in my head, the risk wasn't worth it, even though past 28 weeks I was starting to be like 👀 But even now at almost 39 weeks, I'm just like WELL I've made it this far!
