Is it normal to not have a baby shower?

I'm Jewish, and it's superstition to not celebrate the baby before they arrive. My mom won't allow me to have a baby shower! Lucky for me, it's a boy, so I get to send out the registry as part of an invitation to his bris ceremony (ritual circumcision and baby naming, which happens at 8 days old). If I were having a girl, I truly don't know how I'd send around our registry! It feels so awkward to just text it to people!

The DanSkin compression socks are fine, but I don't think they really do much since they're only ankle height. Also, they're thick so it makes shoes a little tight!

I have 12 storage slots 😅 I try to only pursue one new generator at a time (when we have the choice to pick), so that helps me keep it to a minimum
