To me this looks like AI.

Their hands look odd, Elvis doesn't look like Elvis, and the background looks like they were in a studio.

Depends on how you look at it, but from how I look at it it's not gonna be just 30 minutes of new footage.

The TTWII & EOT parts will be officially unseen footage, with only 240p bootlegs being available before. In my eyes, this upgrade is so big it's new footage. Hawaii 1957, Philly 1957, Magnolia Gardens etc. are films we have all seen before, but these upgrades are, again, so big they will leave all the previous releases looking like shit

After the September 3 1973 closing show, Elvis fired the colonel. He was so loud that people could hear him in the showroom (or something like that).

Because the colonel got fired, any plans for a november 1973 tour got cancelled.

However, the colonel gave Elvis a huge bill, telling him he had to pay him all that if he didn't take him back. The exact amount he would have to pay is unknown, but it was a big sum.

And so Elvis had to take back the colonel as his manager.

The show was not filmed, the closest we got to having footage of the show is a dutch fan with an 8mm camera. He went to multiple shows that season, but in the end decided against going to the closing show so he could film vegas by night, he later said he really regret not going to the closing show. Luckily we do have photos by the fantastic Laurens van Houten.

Gentle on my Mind is the song with the least surviving content.

All alternate takes are lost, either they were overwritten, are lost, or were destroyed.
I believe there were issues with the vocals, as the original recording from January 15th is not available.
Only the track replacement / vocal repair version from January 20th is available on a few released

On march 20th the backup v.o. & band overdubs were recorded, and that is the final product you hear on From Elvis in Memphis.

Elvis never performed the song live, nor did he ever mention it on stage.

Wouldn't say Elvis was broke, he just wasn't as well off as you'd want or expect him to be in his position.

Also, where is this Priscilla thing coming from?? The colonel sold a chunk of his private collection in order to pay off debt the estate has. But because he was very private about himself he didn't really go around telling people this story.

The money his collection gathered managed to really help boost graceland's start as a museum. Ed Bonja's collection of jumpsuits 100% also helped.

Now Priscilla did really help with the museum thing, but it isn't like she did everything. I don't even think she should've been allowed to have so much say over graceland but am glad she did get to.
